in my humble opinion, EVERY Chelsea fan should always buy the home shirt if they do indeed buy the kits. But saying that, even if we had a green and red checkered kit with yellow sleeves (how fetching) i'd still buy it. Its the badge that counts, not the quality of the shirt.

Hes only managed Holland and Barcelona (and some shit dutch team briefly which went very badly). He can manage the flair teams but that dont make him a great manager. I don't like him really. He would only come for the £££. I would prefer an established Ex-blue (player wise or managerial wise) any day, who loves the team and shows 100% passion every game. I'm not a great fan of managers who haven't got anything to do with the club. Still, if we get him, we get him. And TBH we might. I think it looks likely. Specially if Barca don't win anything come may (or june, however the spaniards do it)

yeah i agree with that. On his day, he was awesome. His spring and agility made up for his lack of height in a way, i remember the saves from Jamie Redknapp against tottenham from the free kick and an awesome save from van nisterlrooy at old trafford from a header i think, finger tips. Was also a fantastic penalty saver (saved 3 in 5 in 01/02 i think). Only crosses were his dodgy point (just look at the Leicester CC game) but that was purely height. A few more inches and he couldve been the very best (hope his woman doesnt say that to him tho).

I love all 3. I'll defo get all 3 aswell. I don't see anything wrong with any. I cant wait til these are released. Thats another £94.50 on Chelsea shirts next season putting my tally up to 26 i think. Need to make a new pic P.S Will we ever use our white kit? It's gonna go down in history as the only away shirt never used lol. Lets hope we get Fenerbahce in the next round of the UCL lol. The white kit will make its belated debut (well we used it in Brondby lol). At least next season, all the kits should get a fair run

There's just something about Ex-Blues that i love as our manager. The Gullit & Vialli years were probs my favourite of all time because it was just so Chelsea. Mourinho was brought in simply because hes the best tactician in the world (not a bad reason) and he brought in so much confidence. Its kida like we knew in 2004 that we were gonna win the league next season. Even tho we're doing ok at present and chalenging for everything, i'm not really that happy, theres not the buzz of previous years. Zola/Casiraghi partnership (From ItalyU21), Vialli back (he's said live on Sky he wants the job back), Clarke (legend, never been out the fold), Mark Hughes (ex blue of course) or just any ex blue would do me (you know what i mean, don't throw names like bogarde or fleck at me). I wants my Chelsea back.

Steve Clarke for me. Thats what i'd like to see
-
hes only got a good record because he doesnt have a bad team to chose from does he lol. I could lead that team to the top 3 and get to a carling cup final. The players were there already. It would take an absoute genious to make that Chelsea squad shit. Hes got it easy.

Chelsea 6-0 Arsenal (reserve Friendly)

lmao thats what i love to see. things like that make my day. -
we aint winning shit under grant ever. If we're gonna win something, we need to sort it out. The last time we played well was Everton Away in the CC Semi 2nd leg. Since that, nothing.
-
and for good measure i'll add in the word "Inept". But we have a few very very big games next and we have to make sre we put that shit behind us and sort things out.
-
he defo played defensive at the world cup, if it said he was behind the front 2, it was wrong. his best possition is defensive and him and lamps could play together if they both knew their roles 100%.
-
the way we're playing atm its not gonna be easy and we certainly wont be winning by a score like 4-1. if we're lucky, we'll just get any kind of goal and hang on. will be tight, i cant see us losing tho. either 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 to us. i still expect we'll get the 3pts. If we dont, then the league's over even tho i think its over anyway. It'll just make it more difficult.
-
the big 4 wont be broken in the league tho, the other 16 teams arent as consistant as the current big 4 and it will take something major for them to be. Anyone can win a one off game. We lost to Villa, Arsenal lost to Boro, Man Utd lost to Bolton, Man City (twice) and West Ham. In Football, you can't take a single match for granted. Any decent team can beat any good team. Yesterday we just had a shocker. When we go to WHL, normal service will resume hopefully and i'll be so fucking happy if we do em 3 or 4-0. Its only Liverpool giving a mid table side hope because they are playing like an average team and making it hard for themselves. I'm 100% sure that they will still come 4th tho. As for Olympiacos, its just one game, we're at home, all we have to do is win a home game against an average side. I can't see us fucking up against them. We can beat anyone at SB and Olympiacos arent one of the best teams we'll play. Who picks Chelsea's team? who cares, i dont. Speculation will always be about Ten Cate and Clarke picking it but Avrams the manager, he probs picks it with advice from HTC and SC but tbh its anyones guess. no one knows 100% unless they are a fly who lives in the Chelsea dressing room. Grant probably just goes on advice anyway. But as i said, i dont care who picks it as long as it gets the job done. Beginning of the End for avram? well everyone here hopes so but we've spoken about this subject far too much. We'll have to just get on with it as it is and wait and see. Its not up to us, its up to a certain russian.

if we play wingers, they need to be confident to run at players and be more direct. SWP just runs over the ball, he has a quite shocking first touch and he beats himself more than opposing players. He seems to always leave the fucking ball behind! I actually think Kalou looks really good as a winger, he is direct, he has great feet and he does beat players. Consistancy is the problem for him tho and finishing. Malouda has nothing, no strength, no pace, nothing. Joe Cole and Kalou are the best we have imo. I agree on 4-4-2. We dont score enough as 4-3-3 as the 2 wingers hardly ever score. it was and still probably would be drogs and lamps who are the only 2 i can bank on getting more than 10 goals in a season. 4-4-2 ...........................Cech........................... .......................Whatever......................... ...Joe Cole Lampard Essien/Ballack Kalou... .....................Whatever two....................... The defence and strikers can be anyone, they kind of pick themselves. in midfield ballack or essien would be my main question. Dont forget how good ballack was in the world cup playing as a defensive midfielder. MICHAEL BALLACK IS A DEFENSIVE MID-FUCKING-FIELDER! Then 2 wingers/wide men who are direct and do cause problems to defences. they are capable of getting goals too.
-
The appointment was a joke anyway, everyone here knows it. hes hardly a big name and i didnt know who he even was anyway. Avram who? A team like Chelsea needs a top well known proven manager and you can hardly call mr grant that. He knows nothing, he has no clue, the other 2 are doing everything pretty much. Steve Clarke for next manager. Ok so hes not a big name proven manager but hes Chelsea through and through. If we dont get a major name, a Chelsea boy like clarke is ideal and would get all of our support. Klinsman? Fuck that, ex yid, no Chelsea connection, not much experience.......just as bad as grant.
-
And performed some quite amazing diving techniques. One worked, he scored from the resulting FK lol.

I'm writing this here because the match thread has been closed. I'm getting confused, BlueLion gets 1pt for Chelsea 1-0 Tottenham. I get 0pts for Chelsea 3-1 Tottenham. I take it BlueLion got a point for saying Chelsea scored 1, so what about me (and TrueBlue) saying that Tottenham scored 1. Confused.com. I'm not being funny but help lol. I know its not gonna make any difference to my bid of winning this thing but its just bugging me a bit.
-
lol we could almost forget the league, lose almost every game and we'll still finish in the top 4 lol. 2nd 3rd or 4th don't really make much difference, its not like some 2nd rate latvian team is gonna beat us in a UCL qualifier. We should give absolutely everything at trying to finally get the Champs league trophy in our hands.
-
yeah and we only have 2 trophies left to play for. We're practically in the Fa Cup semi and have a fantastic chance to progress to the UCL Quarters. Still very much available.
-
they are sick pics but at least the legs mend twice as strong lol. Still horific all the same.
-
Absolute shocking performance. we need to look at ourselves seriously if we think we can win things playing like that. Why was Anelka on for the whole game? he looked fucking lost. We were by far and away 2nd best by so much is an absolute embarrassment. I cant believe i just watched that shit. thank fuck i was sat here instead of pubbing it, i am utterly pissed of with that performance. only 2 shots on target (from open play) in the whole game and they were in extra time. They out battled us, out played us and most importantly they outscored us. Still........ First goal penalty? how the fuck was that a penalty lol, it hit his chest onto his arm, was he sposed to have meant that? Joke. 2nd goal, Cech punches the ball on to Woodgates head and it goes in. Lucky as fuck both goals but they were the better side throughout. Cant believe the ref blew the final whistle as we were clean through tho, unbelievable. On the other hand, Congrats to Spurs, they played very well and deserved the win. We have won lots of stuff in the last 11 years so we cant complain too much. It happens, you cant win everything. Just wasnt our day. Pissed off, frustrated, angry but life goes on, football goes on and the season goes on. There's still loads to play for. Just gotta get this out of the system.
-
i can't believe i'm watching this at home, what a retard. Anyway its a good team, wouldve liked to see joe cole start but the team looks strong to me. I really cant wait now. I hope Cole comes on tho. Yids have left O'Hara out the 16, he must feel like shit.
-
Roberto Di Matteo (I took these off a video) Henrik Larsson Djibril Cisse
-
yeah luke i agree with that, if it was an Arsenal player doing it to a birmingham player Arsene Wenger wouldve said it was unintensional and unlucky to be sent off. Its amazing what managers see and dont see. Selective eye sight.
-
fuckin hell those pics are sick, i just showed my dad them too. Hes fucked. It will take him about 15 months i reckon to get over that. Age is on his side. If he was older, his career would be over. Disgraceful tackle.
