Optimistic lol but if we do get an early goal you never know like 1999, their confidence is already low and they might just collapse. They have only scored 3 goals all season in all comps and they really aint looking too special atm. They are struggling.

ok i'll coment on topic rather than talking about glory hunting in general. you cant be a glory hunter if you supported Chelsea in 1997 lol, the fa cup is just a domestic cup. Theres loads of ways to be a glory hunter, you aint one Hingis. A glory hunter because you supported Chelsea in 1997.... thats kinda funny. You should have your own local Belgian team tho as well because your from there, i know you like Anderlecht so you should follow them with your heart too because they are from where you are. We all know what glory hunting is, said it so much in different threads i need not explain it again.

Its funny reading the old replies lol before that night in moscow. Well its another season and all trails lead to Rome. And talking about Rome.....Roma 1-2 Cluj Great start by us, winning 4-0, playing great it reminds me a bit of the start to 05/06 where we beat Liverpool 4-1 then Bolton 5-1 then betis 4-0 lol. i really think that this year is our year, it really has to be. Ok so ive said it like every season for like 3 years now lol but honestly our misfortune in this competition is quite unbelievable and its gonna change sooner rather than later. Arsenal were lucky yesterday, man utd were shit and tbh theres no1 that even concerns me in the whole tournament. Even Barca have started terribly this season with real madrid not looking much better. The fifa rankings state that we are the number 1 team in europe and i agree with them, we are. Rome here we come

Thats quality, always makes me happy when we bring old blues back. He came back to help us out in the Vialli days when graham rix was absent and its good to see him back again. Another ex-blue that trully loves the club. Wouldve been good id dennis had come tho and left newcastle. What he is still there for is beyond a joke.

= Aint Loast at home to Man Utd since 2002 = Aint Lost at home since 2004 = Aint lost in 2008 = Man Utd lost their last game = We already lead them by 6 points This shit scares me lol. I really fear the worst in this game because all records are to be broken and shit like that but tbh we are playing really well atm and man utd are playing really really awful lacklustre shit so really they are probably there for the taking. Theres just something, like the Tottenham game that tells me no matter what happens, the result is gonna go against us. The law of avarages can be a fucker.
-
I know that but we'll see. I strongly believe it will be rescinded. And if its not....we have Alex Man utd have no Vidic and no Ronaldo so it aint a real hardship. They are really struggling to score goals atm. If we're gonna have JT out of a Chelsea - Man Utd game, this is probably not a bad time to have it happen. Even tho saying that, we're over due losing at home and in 2008.

Lampard was outstanding yesterday, he should be in the poll. Ashley was our best player but Frank was a close second. Carvalho didnt make contact but there was no need to go to ground like he did. It was a clear foul because he still went through the player without touching the ball.
-
Well the red was for serious foul play, not for being last man. This red will be rescinded because that challenge was by no means serious foul play or violent conduct in any way shape or form. If they had said last man, it would probably have been rescinded but serious foul play, definitely will be rescinded. Obviously i we cant guarantee it will be rescinded but i'm pretty sure it will be. If pulling someones shirt is seriously violent then maybe we're in serious problems lol

Absolutely fantastic performance, probably our best away performance since errr i dunno lol but a while. I feared the worst when they scored but to equalise so soon after was perfect and it absolutely shot city. Suddenly the Man city fans went quiet and we dominated the game. I dont think the City fans sung for 75 mins lol. Silence in manchester. Was great to score some excellent goals too. Overall, great performance. Thats what weve been looking for. The red card was a disgrace. The officials knew they were wrong and changed their reason for the red. They are now saying serious foul play.....Serious foul play lol, isnt that life a 2 footed leg breaking challenge? Rediculous. It will be rescinded.

Glad that Peter Kenyon didn't sign Robinho?
Ollie replied to the wes's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Robinho is a great player and i still wish we had got him. We sold shaun so we would get him and now we're very short on wingers. He is one of the best wingers/attackers around. His team was just simply outclassed yesterday, werent down to him. -
Well the officials mustve realised they were wrong because they changed their reason why he was sent off. Now they are saying he never sent him off for being last man but he was sent off for serious foul play. lmao serious foul play?! so he assaulted him violently? come on ffs, these ppl aint got a fucking clue. Apparently if you get sent off for serious foul play, if you fail the appeal, you get a 3 game ban instead of the one (even tho i thought a straight red was 3 anyway...). At the end of the day tho, he'll get it recinded because they know they were wrong. Theres nothing to worry about.
-
Dennis would be absolutely perfect. He should get out of Newcastle asap. Either him or super dan.
-
Well yeah, we seem to be forgetting SWP and Ben haim a bit in all this Robinho crap lol. Looking forward to 2moro. Get home from work straight into Liverpool vs Man Utd and hopefully a scouse victory because they wont be there at the crunch in may, then see some teams fuck up in the 3 o clock games and then into the 'Clash of the Cash' Cant wait.

Anyone feel sick? Still, funny thing is the Advertisments behind him advertising XL Holidays Classico

ive seen the results of your last 6 games

There were some weird scores, Luxembourg should no way beat the swiss away, thats just completely mad. Strange to see Lithuania top of a group scoring 5 and conceding 0 against Romania and Austria who are 2 well known sides. The funniest thing was portugal tho, Deco scored a pen to put them 2-1 up against Denmark in the 86th min and denmark scored twice in the final few mins to snatch the game 3-2, genius lol. Oh and well done to Bosnia, they obviously got fed up with losing so spanked Estonia 7-0 (Vedran appy) Theres a lot of big name teams losing the plot tho. France losing 3-1 to Austria, Italy needing a last gasp winner in Cyprus, Germany drawing 3-3 with finland and Romania losing 3-0 home to lithuania. At least its looking pretty good for England tho, should be easy from here but when do we ever do things the easy way?! Very interesting qualifying campaign up to now and we've only had 2 matches.

This just gets worse.... and going to teams like that, fuck sake. Dennis wise already done the Millwall path lol by the way. Gus at Yids, Gallas at arsenal, Dennis going from Millwall to leeds is fucking as bad as can get lol. Can anything worse happen after franco and clarke at those lot.... Can't imagine West Ham beating us and it being all down to the one and only Gianfranco Zola.....
-
It says on Setanta Sports news: "Breaking News: West Ham United to announce either Gianfranco Zola or Roberto Donadoni as their new manager on thursday" Its a 50/50 chance that Zola is gonna manage west ham, can you believe it?
-
Well i still dont believe hes a winger. He should play in a central midfield possition or just off the striker(s). He doesnt have the pace to be a consistant winger even tho i do believe he was our best player last season as no1 really stood out. He showed the most desire and his mid season form was especially good. If he's being well contained in a match tho, he doesnt seem to have the answers or a change of idea.
-
I think Belletti did well against spurs actually. If essien, ballack and mikel are still unavailable, use him.
-
Well it looks like its gonna happen, i'm actually a bit stunned by this. I mean we're hardly West Ham's best mates are we. Bit like when Wise was at Millwall then Leeds and Gus at Tottenham....

Well Football is by far and away my main sport. I love watching darts, its just something thats always entertaining to watch. I can watch Rugby quite easily but not really a huge fan, prefer rugby league club wise but prefer rugby union internationally. I like cricket, T20 owns and can watch England in one dayers and tests but dont really care about the club side of it even tho i do like surrey, dont like their brownies outfits tho and brown caps (Brown hatters means queers dont it) anyway moving on....Like Boxing and i do like tennis too. Oh yeah and i love pool but prefer playing it really, dont watch it as such unless its the 9-ball world championships or the mosconi cup. tbh i can watch most things except motorsports, fishing, golf, cycling and long distance running lol, they are boring as fuck. Any exciting sports i can watch.

Lampard in 2004 was Englands best player voted by the fans, he was magnificent in Euro2004 and was the best player in the world between sort of 2003-2005, no doubt. between 2003-2006 lampard was a different player to what he is now. He still scores the goals for Chelsea but he doesnt dominate the midfield like he once did. He doesnt really do that much anymore. For England, he has been useless in the last 2 years. I dont agree with the booing, they are gonna make him feel and play worse, the fans are sposed to do their best to support players in bad form but he really isnt showing anything. If he plays badly against croatia, i think he wont be playing much more in an England shirt.
-
Hes bound to do something else, hes a nut case. Its only a matter of time before he gets a substancial ban talking 6-12 months.
-
i have a similar dislike towards to british sportsmen too, i dunno why. I liked khan but seems too cocky, bit like prince naseem, you kinda wanted to see him on the recieving end of a beating. I dont watch F1 or take interest but Hamilton is so hyped, i loved it when he lost the championship last year in the final race and today when he was demoted after he won was funny too. Its all about hype. I'm just hoping Nadal comes back to beat Andy Murray in the US Open Tennis and that will top things off .
