  1. yes this is the Carling cup but come on, this is Liverpool, they have just beat us at the bridge only a week ago, they've beat us 3 in a row and 3 out of 4 at the bridge in the league. I'de like Bertrand and McEachran to play more but this game is personal, this aint just a Carling cup game. If we lose against them again, i'll personally hang myself from the nearest tree. CC or not, we have to get through this tie no matter what.
  2. He's still learning but he worries me as someone who's due to make a big fuck up. You can see it coming even if he's playing well and looking solid, expect the unexpected. On his debut, he got MOTM i think against Fulham but still managed to concede a last minute penalty. Sums the guy up. He has the makings tho to be awesome, i still see him as a midfielder tho. The guy scores goals, can pass a ball and dribbles past 4 players on marauding runs. yeah... our CB lol. Just don't know what to make of him.
  3. I wish people would act more responsibly and stop taking the piss with silly wasted votes because this matters for the end of the season. I know Mata is the clear winner but voting for Torres is a bit pointless really. How hard can it be to just vote for the player you thought was the best. Ok so Mata had 2 assists and a goal. Clear winner. Very glad to see Romeu get mentioned as playing really well, he deserves to play EVERY game for us and Mikel should be worried. Sturridge, Romeu, Ramires, Mata = Chelsea's should be untouchables. They will have a huge say on our future within the next 5-10 years.
  4. Will be a nice way for AVB to start like Jose, especially if we beat Arsenal in the final. If we beat Liverpool and Arsenal and win it, i'll probably forgive the last 4 weeks.
  5. Glad to wake up and see a convincing scoreline, although no goals in the second half is a shame. Also nice to see Romeu and Ramires together, they have a big say in our next 5-6 seasons. Lampard was great after being benched last time and again, we've won without him and gave him a rest. Torres needed to play but i think Drogba maybe deserves a little run too to get him back to full sharpness. I reckon AVB did a good job yesterday. Torres and Lampard were rested for Liverpool. We're gonna fucking go for them on Tuesday!
  6. Will be so nice to win this game, the CC has more importance now as we're in this 'transition' any trophy is nice after last season, it's good to win something every year. Look how pissed off Arsenal were last season not to win it. If we revenge these rats, we have a great chance to win it.
  7. Neither love or hate really, i like him more than i dislike him for some reason, just wish he'd find his form back. I'm desperate to see him succeed for us, time is still on his side and we won't sell him and lose profit. I think he'll make his point in the CC against Liverpool. I'm looking forward to this game now after last weekend. If he had 10 consecutive 90 minute games, i reckon he'd bag 7-8 times ish. We have the best 2 strikers in the world (ok, 2 of the best but a few years ago, they were THE 2) and they are both playing like retards. Poor AVB.
  8. They didn't play for the shirt, the badge, the fans or Carlo in those final few games. They were a disgrace.
  9. I think a draw is enough so it's in our hands for sure but with Leverkusen playing that wank Belgium team, we're bound for 2nd place and round err... 5? 6? with Barca. At least it's a match i'd be buzzing for and something that if we do win, will make up for a lot of the season. If we knocked Real or Barca out the UCL, i'd probably even forgive that Arsenal game.
  10. The whole squad should be as 1 anyway, there's serious problems if everyone isn't together and if there are certain problems, that will obviously cause disruption. The team looks so low in confidence, it's not good to see. The body language is bad
  11. just ask me what u need and i'll give it. £2.50 is easy, can we do it by DD?
  12. He knows what to do and he knows what he needs and this time next year, there will be a huge bastard change to this squad no matter what he and the press say. I bet nobody is more pissed off than him right now, his side is being humiliated in front of the world and we're one of the biggest teams in the world globally now. He knows this cannot carry on
  13. How many controversial goal line decisions do we see a season? like... 2? lol although it'd be nice to see, it would be a waste of money. We need video challenges for offsides more-so for example if the goal is scored, look at a replay. The ball would be dead as it's in the net so u wouldn't have to stop the game. If the attacker misses torresesque, just play on as it wouldn't matter. Common sense.
  14. I need to get back home n sort my paypal account out because it's been locked, bastards! Once it's sorted, i'll donate and if i haven't donated by December 10, message me and demand i do it asap
  15. Had to laugh there lol. Regarding the game, i don't really know what to say except the the obvious we have to stop the rot stuff. I'm sure we'll win this game but it's hardly gonna be a monumental ground breaking achievement. We need to win and hope Arsenal n Liverpool both lose but again, that's just stating the plain obvious. I want us to win and win fucking well with style and lots of goals. I want Wolves to get an absolute dismantling and i want them to be on the coach back to the black country wishing they never came to london. That is the only thing that will make me a tad happier.
  16. I woke up yesterday morning to find out the score, i noticed we lost 2-1 to a 90th minute goal and my day was effectively ruined before it had started. I was thinking about the 2 last games most of yesterday and i'm supposed to be on holiday trying to forget things, stress free and enjoying myself. I saw the Leverkusen score and i started shaking ffs. We can only come 2nd now at best but the good thing is that Man Utd are in the same scenario and City could be in Europa league. This November has been another tragic one, last season was bad but this tops it. I'm fed up of trying to defend this team, we have the players to win games whether we're playing well or not, whether the ref is being a cunt or not and whether we're creating chances or not. Fact is we've won 2 in 9 i think, lost 3 in 4 and the one we won was against a shit blackburn team and even then we were lucky to win as Ivan nearly put one in his own net very late on. Football is about winning, not feeling hard done by because "we deserved to win" and "We we're unlucky" blah dee blah we are on a terrible run and it hurts me because of my love for this team. This season is already a right off, we just have to try n qualify for the UCL now and win a domestic cup, even if it's the mickey mouse one, i'd take that now. FA Cup would be lovely tbh. It's sad when the premiership is over by Xmas and i'm actually worried to get a big team in the UCL, we're not as solid as we once were and could genuinely get a right whipping. Still.... a game agaist a Barca/Real could be good for us in a sick kinda way. Anyway...... it is funny to see we've been so awful, yet have the same points as both Liverpool and Arsenal but now we have 26 games to get top 4, preferably 3rd. We'll lose more too so it's gonna be a rough ride
  17. Wow what a list, even got a woman's goal there. Can't really name one because they are all awesome in their own ways. Neymar skill, Lopez technique, The woman because i didn't think they could kick a ball that hard, Messi for skill and composure against a right cunt of a team. Dos Santos for skill and precision, Ibra for shear power and technique from a bitch of a position, so many great goals there. Rooney & Lopez for me
  18. He's done it before tho, wasn't it against Stoke in the 7-0 he missed a glaring open goal by missing the ball. Kinda remember something like that lol. He's another player you'd put money on fucking most things up.
  19. It's true that we coulda won all the big games, but the fact is, we didn't. In almost any game you watch, there will be fine lines and plenty of what-if's. We probably shoulda lost to stoke and we shouldn't have beaten West Brom and maybe not even Norwich. What-if Shane long played a better ball to Odemwingie (i think it was him). In football, possession and ability means sod all if you make mistakes and fail to take your chances. What-if Lampard's goal had been given in the world cup. What-if Van Nistelrooy scored that penalty against Arsenal and Anelka had missed his penalty against us the following season, who would be the untouchables? WHAT-IF?!
  20. Sacked... When? Now? i doubt it. I reckon this will finally be the time that a manager gets a few years. He's still doing things his way and wants everything his way and he still has some way to go. This shit season is the stepping stone for good times with VB i hope. I'm pissed off now but lets see if he can fix this damage.
  21. Its so hard to determine of JT is passed it because i thought he had a fantastic couple of seasons just gone and he never had pace, i still think he's good but so much has happened, it's maybe a psychological thing, he must have everything going through his mind. The penalty, the affair, the stripping of England captaincy, the racism.... i mean ffs, some ppl would commit suicide lol. And even Lamps, he got abused and dropped then suddenly we saw glimpses of the old lamps again. Oh and also.... Drogba. He got the Golden boot with 29 goals in 2010 then he got malaria and a couple of injuries and we bought Torres so since his goalscoring form of 09-10, he's not had a chance to carry on, he's not had an extended run in the team at all. He is still good enough and better than Torres imo.
  22. I watched the game in Brighton with quite a few family members, really nervous, especially when they went 1-0 up. It will always be a game to remember, even Stevie G got sent of after a dirt challenge on Le saux. Shame Le Saux & Zola left us and didn't play in the UCL in the 03/04 season. It's unbelievable tho, the luck we've had in the UCL since Gronkjaer's goal against Liverpool so start the journey. It's been the most emotional 7 years you could ever imagine and no other team will ever go through such bad fortune. Supporting Chelsea was so different before Roman, even if we lost, it wasn't really a problem. We often lost away to Coventry for example, but that was life. We lost 10-15 games a season but when we won, it was cherished, we enjoyed it, it felt good to beat Southampton 1-0 at home on a rainy, cold, muddy evening. Nowadays there's so much pressure, you lose 3-4-5 and it's all doom n gloom. Look at things now. Now as 22/11/2011, only in November and we're already out the title race. Money has ruined the fun of football. We benefited from it and it was great, but Man City are taking it to the extreme. Within the next 10 years, they would've won everything possible. I'd love to have football's 1994-2000 era back because i enjoyed it more than i enjoy todays stuff.
  23. We always get behind the team, but the performances against Arsenal, Genk and Liverpool leaves a lot to be desired. You'd think we were one of the other west london mobs, for our stature in football now, we deserve a hell of a lot better that this shit.
  24. What's the point in optimism? I was optimistic on Sunday, i was optimistic against Genk away, i was optimistic against QPR, i just can't be bothered anymore, this team is just a complete failure and if we win, great, if we don't, fuck it. It's not like we can win the tournament. My optimism is at an all time low right now and yes, you can all moan and say you should stick by your team but how much do they really care and how many care? After QPR, although we lost, i was happy because the players gave everything, since then, they've just let us down, we deserve better. I'm still extremely bitter and still in a very bad mood since the Arsenal game, the Liverpool game just put in a final blow, like kicking a dead person. We might win, if we get a half decent team in the next round or 2, we're simply goners. We have no chance of anything good this season. THAT is how optimistic i am. The last few performances have been an insult to us so atm i feel a bit fucked off and couldn't care a shit what happens to them.
  25. Transition, transition, transition. I'm fed up with the excuse of transition. When have we once decided to ditch transfers for a few years and asccerpt finishing 4th, 5th? We aint. We're still trying to build a squad to win things and we're still trying to buy the best players if we can. Man Utd went through transition, yet still won things. Arsenal are the only big side i've seen go through transition buy spending no money and buying nobody whilst their stadium was being paid off. We have no reason to do anything like this, we have money and we have ambition, we should NOT be in this position, fighting only for domestic cup shit.
