What's he ever helped Arsenal win anyway? I'd hate him to join City but i would laugh somewhat if it happened.
-
If we don't sign Hulk, it's a big chance wasted and a huge fuck up imo. Nobody goes for what they're worth nowadays anyway, we have money, we have tradition, we have the Champions League trophy in our possession, we have many Portuguese speakers, slightly less now but still have our Brazilians. Just pay the money and fucking well get him. On a side note, i'd prefer Debuchy over Maicon all day. After seeing what Bale did to Maicon (twice) i never want to see Maicon anywhere near us. I'm aware of the season Debuchy had last season and he looked very competent in the Euro's and he's at a great age. It's not even worth thinking about that choice. but... This is the Hulk thread, i definitely would like to see Hulk come here.
-
I need to see him actually leave and i need Arsenal to fail to qualify for the Champions League before i can come here and ejaculate. I've had a very enjoyable 7 years or so but they still aint dead and they still did what they did to us in October. I need this club to do a Rangers.
-
Just be happy he's leaving those fuckers. I doubt he'll join a rival of Arsenal but tbh i'll just be glad if he got the fuck out the country like Ronaldo and Fabregas did. Be happy not to see him (much) again.

Torres has had many good performances without finding the scoresheet and there is no way Torres get more love than Lamps, JT etc. Lamps, JT, Drogs, Cech, Cole etc have proven without debate that they are true Chelsea legends so these debates don't happen. Torres has struggled in his Chelsea career and we're backing him because we want him to be a Chelsea great. We all know what Torres can do and i personally will back him to the hilt.
-
lmao every time Torres does something bad it explodes too into "Torres is shit!" So what's better, praising our Chelsea player when he has good games and performances or abusing him because he didn't score?
-
I love Juan Mata and i was made up that he got that goal in the final. My favourite moment in the tournament by a mile that goal. After getting no minutes, it was a nice touch Del Bosque getting him on and him getting the finishing touch.
-
Fact is he looks fit, he looks confident, he looks composed, he is making the right runs, his touch is good, his finishing is good, his passing is good and his link up play is good and he's won 3 big trophies in 6 weeks. If he's not confident now, he never will be. With Hazard, Mata and Ramires and possibly Hulk, Marin and de Bruyne, he must score more, seriously. We've seen what he's done with Spain in 184 minutes with creative players.
-
Torres has been shit for us because of 2 reasons. 1) Shit players around him 2) Not enough attention to what he does without always looking at his goal ratio. Fernando Torres is class, he's had a great career but has struggled since 2009. He's 28. Kalou can't and has never been good.
-
Kalou is shit but when he looks back on his career, he'll be happier than Shearer and Le Tiss i bet. Kalou got his move to Chelsea, good on him.
-
Players get judged on trophies. I'd rather win trophies like Torres than be like Le Tissier or Shearer. Torres contributed in every trophy they won regardless of the circumstances.
-
Well yeah... you worked it out lol. And he did it in the final and won the trophy so good on him!
-
He got 3 goals and 1 assist in less minutes than Mario Gomez.
-
He won the Golden boot in what.... 184 minutes did someone say? Not much more he coulda done in that time yet no ... this is Talk Chelsea lol he'll just get abused for 3 goals and 1 assist in 184 minutes.
-
Confused because u quoted me lol but anyway whatever people say, with the right assists and players picking out his runs and actually giving the ball to him, he will score goals. He's been mocked and abused but that's because of the shit players we had on the wings not helping him or being good enough to pick his clever runs out. Glad the likes of Kalou and Malouda are probably going and Sturridge can hopefully grow up a bit and stop being a selfish cunt of he'll be the next out. Hazard - Mata - Ramires with Marin there too and maybe de Bruyn. Torres will score goals and all u ppl will realise that the last 18 months wasn't due to Torres being shit, it was because of our shit build up and creative play that didn't suit the way Torres plays.
-
Not sure if this is a serious post or a joke but that was me giving Torres credit trying to back the poor cunt up.
-
Torres get scrutinised because he's world class. If he was shit like Kalou no one would care if he played like a cunt.
-
He'll always get abused here, even if he scored 50 goals next season it'll be "he scored 5 against Sunderland, 4 against Southampton and 3 against Norwich which anyone can do" He won the Golden boot in a huge tournament, he played probably not even the equivalent of 2 whole games yet he still got the golden boot ahead of so many great players and made a huge impact in the FINAL against a team like Italy. ffs if he played every game he might've got 6 goals and 3 assists. He was good in every match when he was there. Loved his assist for Mata too, was a truly wonderful moment which i personally loved as a Chelsea fan.
-
Brilliant article, i loved super Dan, was brilliant for us and will always be remembered by me. Also loved his goal against Arsenal. Shame that generation of Zola, Poyet, Wise, Di Matteo, Vialli, Flo, Petrescu etc never won the league with us but it was an exciting time from around 96-2000.
-
Should go to the Bundesliga or Ligue 1 or a league slightly below the level or the Prem or La Liga. Even Italy would probably suit him a lot. In his prime he was so good for us, first guy on the team sheet in one of the most solid midfields in world football. Such a shame about his injuries. He's still only 29 tho, you never know.
-
Too many threads get merged anyway. Some threads are made so a certain point can be discussed in depth properly instead of in a mix of other things about the player. I can understand Sloth but i can understand why that specific thread was put here. Some need to be left alone tho. I think Hazard will be fine, he's young and confident and really looks the business to me and if he puts in 5 good years and helps us win another premiership and champions league, i'll be happy, let him go. That's football. If he helps us win nothing, again that's football. Nobody has a god given right to win trophies and if it doesn't work out, so be it. On a personal point of view, i genuinely think he'll be very good for us.

Apparently he might take over as manager of Watford after the Pozzo family's take-over. http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2897/championship/2012/06/29/3209206/pozzo-family-compete-takeover-of-watford?source=breakingnews "Gianfranco Zola has been linked to become the club's new manager despite manager Sean Dyche guiding Watford to an 11th-place finish, their highest in four years".
-
At least it's the 3rd kit and not the 2nd. We won't see too much of it, especially with Blackburn going down.
-
Gotta stop AVB taking him to Tottenham
