  1. It has, and quite often. First time I noticed it it was in the Chelsea game as well, I didn't understand what was going on but the commentators and the rules gave me a clear answer. And it is the same as many people above me said.
  2. Happy birthday Roman. We are really lucky to have you.
  3. But Chelsea almost pulled off a remarkable second-half comeback. They countered their numerical disadvantage by condensing space with constant effort and endeavour and, amazingly, put QPR on the back foot. Chelsea gambled at every opportunity and Neil Warnock's men did not help themselves by making poor passing selections and getting caught in possession instead of working the ball calmly and making Chelsea chase from flank to flank.Petr Cech made only one crucial second-half safe. Attacking intent André Villas-Boas positioned his team cleverly after they had been reduced to nine men. It was a gamble to leave so much space in behind, but QPR could not capitalise. Photograph: Graphic David Luiz and John Terry took it in turns to surge forward and support Nicolas Anelka, who missed a great chance from Branislav Ivanovic's cross. It was hectic stuff but amid the mayhem the nine-man system deployed by André Villas-Boas shone. He left one up field in Anelka and as well as asking his two centre-backs to support him, also deployed Frank Lampard and Raul Meireles in semi-forward, narrow positions, reducing the distance between Chelsea's defence and attack. With Mikel John Obi shielding, Ivanovic and Ashley Cole were also allowed to play as semi-wingers, giving the visitors a refreshing attacking shape despite being down to nine players. For 45 second-half minutes, this game felt like the last five minutes of a typical league match in which a team have to throw the kitchen sink at the opposition in order to get a goal. It was incredible that Chelsea came so close to snatching an equaliser, and in defeat their manager displayed shades of José Mourinho during his time at the club; that of a brave tactical transformer. guardian.co.uk

  5. AVB himself said that this competition was for our youngsters, no matter who we play - he will give them the nod. And I trust him really.
  6. The best RB in the league, commenting it he didn't feel that comfortable in that position. Legendary. Yesterday I was really sad, seeing Ivan on the bench among other subs. 'Thankfully' Bosingwa made a blatant tackle so all Brano has to do now is to perform like always and he's back in the starting XI. Hopefully. I've always said that, he's a wonderful footballer.
  7. There are straight red cards and only 1 game ban following, even without appealing. It has happened many times.
  8. Sums it all. I loved his passion and the display he put in. Legend.
  9. 8 Shots 9 3 Shots On Target 2 2 Saves 4 0 Corners 6 7 Offsides 0 10 Goalkicks 11 17 Fouls (Committed) 17 13 Throws 25 41 Ball Possession 59 Considering the fact we were bloody awful in the first half and hardly attacked...hats off, the nine men, hats off.
  10. This is irony at its best. I bet it will be Torres.
  11. And he could have scored in the end, with his tall body and Malouda's free-kick. Pity. That would be something if HE was the man to score our 6000th goal
  12. Maybe, but still, I would prefer Ivanovic. Today he showed he's much better at the RB position. He finally has the time to prove it. As regards Drogba, I know we play Arsenal but he's so shite at the moment that Torres is a must. And he deserves the nod, no question about that.
  13. If Chris Foy likes his cards so much, he should take up poker game, instead of showing them to our players and deciding 'You'll play next game, you won't.'
  14. Watching Torres's performances and goals, you would have expected Drogba fighting for the place and showing some commitment. He hardly gave a shit and then he cost us points. With 10 you can still do some things, but with 9...
  15. With 10 men it would be possible to turn it out but with just 9 men, quite impossible. You could have seen one man was simply missing there. At least, we fought and wanted to do something, anything in the second half and I thank for that. I am seriously looking forward to AVB's post-match interview. I don't want to talk about the ref. He simply didn't get it and it cost us points. AVB will use it definitely.
  16. It's a shame, considering his crosses were always bloody spot on, never failed in delivering and defending... Finally place for Ivanovic, now it is time to prove his quality and make RB position his place.
  17. André - now be strong, be loud and be angry in the dressing room because those stars need to wake up FFS!
  18. God let this game finish, it's only getting worse and worse. FFS
  19. what the fuck wrong is with us? this is not a team but a bunch of so-called stars
  20. Drogba might have just said his good bye to his Chelsea days
