  1. Delusion just read through what you are writing . Yours is beyond delusion. "check out the injuries suffered by Arsenal Manure and Liverpool" Most of the injuries are strains, knocks, hamstrings, aggravated previous ones, etc; not broken legs! Those injuries are mainly caused by lack of proper recovery after games, fatigue, lack of proper body coordination, etc and of-course the nature of soccer play( rapid acceleration). It's the medical team's job to negate most of those factors apart from the unavoidable ones like of the nature of the game. " Yes we have an excellent medical department" Now you are starting to put YOUR BRAIN IN GEAR AND THINKING. But not nearly enough yet. PUT YOUR BRAIN IN GEAR AND THINK ABOUT IT some more
  2. YOU ARE THE ONE NOT PUTTING YOUR BRAIN IN GEAR! With tackles and beating Hazard gets, it's down to top medical department that he is as fit as he is. After every game, the players are put through recovery routines and physiotherapy, by the medical team to replenish and recover their bodies. When year after year we are the least affected by injuries, especially given the beating that some of our players like Hazard get, then it's less luck and more great techniques and approach used by our Medical team and the manager for empowering them to do their job. AGAIN using your words, PUT YOUR BRAIN IN GEAR AND THINK ABOUT IT
  3. There are dumb comments and then on a scale of 1 to 10 there are infinitely dumb comments. Anyways, today is a day for me to enjoy the beautiful sunshine as we get closer to the title
  4. LOL Azpi is by no means bad on the ball. May be you are trying to say that he can't overlap on the left or make consistent decent croses with his left foot- which is true and totally expected since he is right footed playing LB. But being "bad on the ball that it hurts" just LOL
  5. Emergency loans are one can not be extended. It's the same with Kalas. Kalas has one more game this weekend and then his loan is done untill next season. This weekend Reading play in FA cup and Ake is cup tied in that tied. The Audi commercial was most certainly filmed before he went on loan.
  6. How inexplicably terrible that Mourinho Pep is , how can he play Boateng at striker/false 9 when he has the great youngstar Mitchell Weiser on the bench. He is not giving the Bayern youngsters a chance. Why even call him up when he is not going to play him?? This is indefensible! Urghh! I have no words to describe how mad I am
  7. UEAFA YOUTH LEAGUE FINAL: Shakhtar Donetsk U19 vs Chelsea U19 full match Here it is for those who missed or those who want to see again. http://livefootballvideo.com/fullmatch/europe/uefa-youth-league/shakhtar-donetsk-u19-vs-chelsea-u19
  8. There are moments that I think Mourinho must do better in giving young players minutes. Like that game at Lisbon, where he should have played RLC for much longer and should even another youngstar for an extended period. There are many time where I feel Ake should have been given minutes. In general, I feel the academy has been "disserviced" by Jose this season But a derby in QPR away, in a CRUCIAL BIG BIG game for both teams!! That is not a game for youngstars making debuts. Brown would have to play in a worst case scenario. Drogba for 90min is not a worst case scenario.
  9. All great managers do that, Guardiola, Van Gaal, etc. It's not like they have teenagers they could use instead of first team CBs. But I guess you folks must know better, Ya'll must be legendary FOOTBALL Managers in your own right. I know I am, I even even had Quaresma win the ballon d'orin my Football Manager career.
  10. LOL, Solanke is 17, 17YRS OLD. The first team is still AT MINIMUM 2yrs away. How many 17yr olds do you know have played for a team with Chelsea's ambitions regularly??? Even 17yr old Messi barely featured for Barca. The gulf btn youth football and Chelsea first team competitors football is HUGE. Bamford,Traore and Brown are more ready but even them need regular competitive football at this stage to progress. We will most likely have to buy another striker to replace Drogba in the short term.
  11. The Xabi and Fabregas links are more about his approach to possession play and movement; he passes then quickly steps to side/back for a return pass, quickly recycling through possession. Even when he dribbles forward his game isn't about acceleration or pace. It's more of quick feet close control dribbles forward/sideways like Iniesta. Whereas I see Boga utilizing more of acceleration and pace, control and balance when dribbling like Hazard. And his approach to possession play being first a square up and looking for a take on, again like Hazard.
  12. Mikel is better than most DMs on those teams. And an old Dejong better than Mikel?
  13. Yea I know, just preferred to talk about style :tophat:
  14. Boga is one of those very very rare talents who make you wish that you could sue God for giving him so much football talent and living nothing for the rest of us
  15. Musonda's style is very different to Hazard's style. The way Musonda dribbles and moves with the ball is like Iniesta. Musonda's style is more a mix of Iniesta, Xabi, Fabregas. The player similar to Hazard is Boga. It's actually VERY uncanny how similar Hazard's and Boga's style are! In terms of RAW TALENT, they are the best two youngstars we have, then probably Traore and RLC. I would choose Boga over Musonda because/for the same reasons I would Hazard over Iniesta. Hopefully both reach their full potential and make it here; it would be mesmerizing.
  16. Why? to spare us the scenes of Charlie Adam devouring him. As an avid watcher of our academy games, I know it wouldn't be pretty. PL is WAY WAY TOO SOON FOR HIM RIGHT NOW.
  17. Yes there is an exception to a small town somewhere, but not an exception to a Land mass called Egypt on planet earth on the the continent Africa
  18. Few people understand the importance of link up play and hold up play esp in certain circumstances/moments/ or types of games the opponent may throw at you. Remy is a fantastic striker, but he has never been a hold up player striker and his link play is abysmal. Drogba is old and thus has became "leggy" but he is still the best hold up and link up play striker we have.
  19. LOL, I didn't Trust me, sorcery is real and it is in every corner of the world. From Europe to Africa to America to China to Bolivia to Australia to Japan to you name it.
  20. when rumors of a Salah and Cuadrado swap started in January, an Egyptian witchdoctor said that Chelsea shouldn't bother with it because he would swap out their bodies.
  21. stopped reading at the skinnier and faster Mikel. Ramires and Mikel are nothing alike. Well, perhaps being black. Mikel can defend, he can make a simple five yard pass, he can withstand physical battles without giving away pointless dangerous free kicks. Mikel has a cool head too, he uses his brain. Mikel has defensive midfield positional awareness, etc Mikel has his deficiencies but the ridiculous bashing he gets on here is quite frankly brainless. I just wish I could somehow block my eyes from seeing Ramires play again, this guy can drives me nuts! There can never be a comparison btn Ramires and Essien. Essien in his prime was the most complete midfielder I've ever seen. Opponents were terrified of him before even stepping on the field. He had every thing, POWER,STRENGTH,PASSING,STAMINA,POSITIONAL AWARENESS,DRIBBLING AND MOVING THE BALL FORWARD, SHOOTING, YOU NAME IT-HE HAD IT. Essien was incredible. There was no player who could match him. It's very insulting to name Ramires and Essien in the same sentence. Ramires is supposed to be in his prime, at the peak of his powers and yet he is completely dogshite. 4 f**ks sake, the guy turned the ball over by making a 4yard pass to Ivanovic's head today, I mean really. Ivanovic was dogshite today too-but that a different discussion
  22. From the Slippy G slip, those kinds of things can break a young player's psyche Then again, I'll believe the play time when I see it next season
  23. As I've said before, Ramires is the most frustrating player I've ever seen. Good God, if only he had a brain and could make a simple pass He will make a brilliant run, dribbling and bursting forward but make the worst possible final decision! He will finish the the hardest possible chance-scoring a brilliant goal but fail to finish the NUMEROUS simple chances he gets! He will be in a great position but make the most foolish unnecessary foul needed! etc. you could go on forever. Every year, I say maybe next season we will get the great Ramires he can be, but it never happens. May be it happens in one or three games, but the rest of season you almost break your tv whenever he plays. I'm just tired, the guy is simply exhausting. Even now as vexed as I am now; I'm thinking, may be next season, just may be
