Seriosly, help yourself mate and read. You will have a case. But to throw sentences around and claim they are facts on your personal opinion basis, that is lame.

No, I didn't say it is because of Jewish Rabbis. It is because of a political movement called Zionism. A movement that started about 100 years ago and most religious rabbis actually hate. There is a big difference bewteen Judaisim and Zionism. One is a faith, respected, and the other is a political movement. There is a book called protocols of the elder zions. Check it out. There are also many books and researches (by Israeli Jews), that show how zionism is against Judaism.

Palestinians are Muslims, Christian and Jews. Currently Muslims and Christian minority. But all the media does is remove the word Palestinians and put the word Hamas. Like they tried to remove the word Lebanese and replace it with Hezbollah. and Egypt with Muslim brotherhood. It is purely political and are run by a political ideology called Zionism. An ideology that most religious Jew see as no Jewish and refuse it. I am not talking about ordinary religious people only, but Rabbis.

James give it up. You have been trying so hard to take a swing at religion. You should know what you are talking about before you type anything. Go read some history and you will know what this is all about. You will also know who expelled the Jews out if from their land. Maybe you would be more humble. Also read about how this whole conflict started, then maybe, you can have a case to argue.

Yes it is. If you bothered yourself and read the previous pages, you would have known for a fact that everyone here ( I am not excluding anyone) doesn't like Hamas and think they are terrorists. But if you bother yourself a bit more and read, you will also know that this isn't a religious matter like you are trying to imply mate. Seriously you need to get some knowledge about this.

you need to read a lot about the conflict and the history mate. Try Shlomo Sand, Naom Chomsky, Norman Finkelstein, Avi Shlaim, Miko Peled ( son of respectful Israeli General Mittityahu Peled. You will know more about the conflict.

Ok I see what you mean. Frankly I would have fallen into that fallacy simply because I had no idea what the difference is before you put the two examples. I guess it is all about how to put it like you said. It is a language/cultural barrier then. Thanks for the clarification.

Excuse my English, but I am not familiar with the term tact

We start doing it at the age of 7 . Salah, is also known to be a religious guy. So 90% that he is fasting as we are only exempted (as Muslims), if we are ill, or traveling. We have a special amatuer Rmadan tournaments all over the Arab world. Here in Kuwait, we sometimes play before breaking fast. The temperature is in the upper 40s. Once your system gets used to it, it becomes very much bearable. Plus, it is so spiritual, so that kinda gives you a boost to stand it.
-
As I said, someone "unintentionally" bashed fasting which is an important matter for Muslims. It is cool as this person doesn't take swings at others intentionally. To my understanding on this forum we have views from all over the world with different cultures. So I see no harm in trying to understand each other and getting along despite of our differences and backgrounds. No need for anyone to go on the offense really. I hope it is all cool mate.
-
Religion is the most important thing to Muslims. So he is basically explaining Salah's point of view regarding fasting that was called "moronic", by a fellow member. Just like the only place said family in your culture comes first. It is a matter of different cultures. No need to take this further mate. Let us keep it with football performance. We aren't here to challenge each others faiths of believes. Deal mate?
-
Ok guys, let us take it out a notch. This is ,like the only place has said, not about religion. So let us keep it to football performance and I think everyone agrees that he had two crappy pre season games. (3 imo). But I also think people are entitled to believe what they want. This is getting nowhere.

So, Israel has already been funded in this war and given over a half a billion dollars from the U.S. Israel is asking for 225 million dollars more, for enhancing the Iron Dome. As if the rockets of Hamas are actually overcoming the iron dome now. LOL. I am really feeling bad for the American citizens. Their economy is in a bad shape and their infrastructure is at critical point, yet the politicians choose to screw them over for a war that is not theirs. I don't know how much their economy will be able to take if the "war seekers", the republicans, win the next elections. http://www.haaretz.com/news/diplomacy-defense/.premium-1.606842

Egypt took back its land while they were fasting during Ramadan. Algeria gave Germany the toughest game of their world cup campaign while they were fasting. Plus, we have 3 more days remaining till the end of Ramadan. So it is no big deal as far as building fitness is concerned.
-
I agree with you that fasting is not an excuse at all, (though he has no energy what so ever since dawn till sunset), but fasting during pre season is not moronic mate. He is religious that is all. All people (Mulsims) do work while fasting. But he should still do much better. Bad performance for two straight games.

Hamas are pathetic. A few years back, most of the western world saw them as radicals, extremists and terrorists. The Arab world didn't like them either, but we (Egypt) tried to avoid them and avoid giving them real credibility by empowering the Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbass, and ignoring them as much as possible. We were simply passivists as usual during Morsi and Mubarak which is pathetic really. Recently (about a year ago), Arab countries such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and others, clearly viewed them as terrorists. Hamas feels that they are somehow dead as the only two countries that back them up are Qatar and Turkey ( they also back the Muslim Brotherhood and that is no secret). Hamas simply want to redeem themselves. What is better than to demonstrate the brutality of the IDF to the world? So they fire harmless rockets that will only scare people and invite Israel to react the way they always do. Israel never cared about Palestinian civilian lives before and surely will not in this conflict. Hamas are under the delusion that they will be precieved as victims, but this back fired clearly at them especially that they have 1)started it, 2)refused cease fire allowing IDF to continue with their terroristic military behaviour. If Hamas are terrorists because they attempt to use the blood of their people for redemption, IDF are also terrorists for accepting Hamas's invitation and pulling the trigger to spill the blood of 100s of innocents (up till now). Most people who are actually against the acts of Israel are also against the acts of Hamas. The one thing they want is to stop the killing of innocent children, women and men.
