IF we get rid of David we need someone to replace him for the position he is playing as of recent and likely tomorrow, in the midfield. Imagine we didn't have Luiz and we had to start Mikel or worse. I'm still reluctant to give him away, he has been far from useless even in a season where he played bit parts. I'll be sad overall to see him go he's really good and if it wasn't for all these (rumors of) 30m+ offers I wouldn't see why we'd sell him. If it wasn't for he astronomical numbers I see (which I suspect are baloney like the shit these cretin journalists puke out on a daily basis) this decision to sell him would be no where near as easy as some of you make it seem. Lampard and Mikel have played more games than David so I think those few mistakes no matter how dire are definitely forgivable. I wouldn't get my heart set on us getting that 38m because that's an awful lot for a defender.

I get the feeling he's going to do some really unconventional shit tomorrow...

Looks like I'm in the right place.

Reasons for Torres still staying at Chelsea
BloodIsBlue replied to BlueLyon's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Who is going to buy this fat loser's kit? Obviously none of you know me or what I am capable of but if I met Torres right now, I wouldn't kiss his ass like some of you, I wouldn't waste a moment telling what I think of him. Obviously he isn't going to risk not getting his millions (and that's the reason he doesn't care what anyone thinks of him) but I hope that earns him a place as the biggest scrub in the history football, soulless mug. -
Depends though... When it comes total strangers Portuguese treat other Portuguese better than their own children. I don't think any referee is going to ruin his reputation as a fair person just to be pal. Referee. or not this is going to be a ruthless match, I cannot wait

You can't be a generic number 10 any more, if so you need to be technically perfect like Pirlo. You either need to be tricky (Hazard) or a physical specimen (Vidal) to grab people's attention.

There is only 1 reason to keep this scrub, and that's if the contract binds us to. -
I could see Bamford coming into the first team but I would suspect Mourinho's motives would not bee good for his career, he needs home growns.

The age comments on Lukaku coming out of here are low and shameful. Lukaku is a big softy and genuine sweet-heart, Hazard has a much harder ego. Usually the guys getting accused of being older also have a more mature personality to give them away. It would be another Sturridge situation to let him go, the writing is on the wall for everyone to see. Diego Costa could not have scored the goal Lukaku scored on the weekend even if he was cutting in on his right foot. Costa doesn't really have those deep cuts he just had shuffles and from the top of the box its 50/50 he'll miss the target.

Biggest Softest marshmallow of them all.

Is that even a problem, Jallet did great compared to the expectation of all the PSG fans in here?
-
Best thing for him would probably be another Season at Benfica. With players like Gaitan and Rodrigo looking set to depart he will be a key figure in the squad. Especially with Gaitan leaving, as Benfica will surely cash in him (Nicolas is one of the most underrated world class players out there and would walk into any European club). I'm actually pretty worried about Gaitan coming to England because it won't be to us.
-
No and Mourinho wouldn't take any of those marshmallows either. On another note Kovacic made a decent second half appearance against Bologna. That doesn't look like a 19 year old who never gets to play, still a work in progress but he's going to be a rare type.

It's all Fernando's fault.
-
So glad he hates Tottenham.

Honestly I think he will destroy everyone's expectations, you can see the effect the atmosphere has on him(or environment as Jose says is a lot for him). You can just see how he looks around at the stadium and pitch, he can't believe it himself where he is. When starting for Chelsea becomes just another day at the office the kid has the potential to do damage every game.

Liverpool is in our hands, if we beat them they are a non-issue (given we do what is expected of us and win all the remaining games. It's Man City where the chances of them dropping points and shrinking by the week. The chances are still there, they are in City's away games, we need the Merseyside clubs and/or Crystal Palace to do some damage.

This is not Torres' worst game, if his worst performances were like this then we wouldn't be nearly as much of an embarrassment as he is. Matic and Willian are battling it out for man of the match but there is still 45 minutes to go. We're not letting stoke have the ball so we haven't seen too much from them, winning this should be easy if Lampard comes off before he runs out of gas.

Salah <3!!!! Great performance so far, could be better.

If anything I'm a little disappointed he would let a woman make a decision like that for him, grow a pair Eden!
-
Finally I hope he got to stay home and relax after the PSG game. Cannot wait to see a fresher sharper Hazard how long has it been, since the West Ham game? The moment Lampard starts slugging about he has to come off.
-
Relax guys it gets cold quick after the games its the only thing he had.

Juan Mata scores, what a pimp!

We already own half of Markovic so it wouldn't be too difficult. Better than letting the Spurs or Liverpool get him. Would Mouinho play him as a striker, we already have Schurrle? I'm still sure we need to scoop up Mateo Kovacic, he's not the finished product yet but to have him playing behind hazard would be something to watch. He did really well against the Spurs last year so they're watching for sure and apparently Liverpool are interested with an 8m bid. I like diamonds in the rough and this one has tremendous potential.
