That CM position needs to be as defensive and running as Rambo, obviously the upgrade needs come into their technical play (imo long passing and long shooting would also be nice). He's has to have the endurance of Rambo.

With Mou we're never going to have majestic games like Bayern or Barca's style. Because the meat and potatoes of our system all season has been to make the other team play like shit. We force them to pull out all the tricks in their bag too early and then they have nothing to surprise us. Mou makes great guesses at where the danger is going to come from and we set up barricades. The foundation of our standing in the league right now is built on how we've made every team (practically) play their worst game of the season. We set out to troll the other team first, I think our lack luster attacking at times is just a symptom of everyone getting used to the demanding system. I don't think we're actually as bad at creating and attacking as we think or as the stats show us. If our finishing was world class we would be much closer to City in goal difference. We don't need massive changes, next season we'll come out the gates with a rocket up our asses.

Shaw is critical. I think the club needs some English players and there are very few that fit the bill like Shaw. If the team skips out on Shaw what other young Englishmen could we recruit, Jordan Henderson? Messi's longshot goals have only come just outside the box and there may only be a handful. You can look at athletic build players like Bale and CR7 who have scored a decent number or corkers in their time. They firstly have longer and heavier legs which gives you more inertia, and the extra length of their leg means their foot is moving faster (if shorter-taller player's hips and knees rotate at the same angular speed). I'm not saying a shorter player can't launch bombasos, I remember Roberto Carlos, it's just that it's a bit more effortless for the longer legs.

Honestly like everyone else here I love Eden, when he touches the ball my fist clench my and my eye lids snap back. The thing is he has short legs (like me) so he won't have those world class shots or at least they don't come off his feet as easily as payers who are all legs. So yes if we had a better penalty kick taker I'd prefer him to take it but for the time being if Hazard can get more goals into his career I am happy for him so as of right now I'd like him to take penalties.
