  1. Sommer having one of those performances. Great attempt from Nkunku, though.
  2. Another season of no end product (without Palmer) on the horizon? I hope Nkunku & him come on at HT.
  3. He's suspended anyway, so not much of a miss.
  4. They just got a nice sum for Soule as well. It really does go to show money talks. Kilman & him isn't bad business with Zouma potentially off to Saudi.
  5. We all know these Italian clubs play us like a fiddle. However, if they are will to cover all his wages (0.0000001% chance), we should bite their hands off.
  6. It's not so much the destination; it's the lack of progression. He's gone from the Belgian top flight to the third tier of English football. If this move shows anything, it's that he won't be playing for the first team anytime soon, if at all.
  7. So much for being the next big thing. He's probably regretting not joining RM at this point.
  8. I lost track of reports saying it was Juve or no one. Anything for clicks should it be confirmed.
  9. Neto is a great signing (slightly on the expensive side, tbh), but it leaves us with more wide options than needed & doesn't solve our goal scoring issues either. Sterling should be one of the names shipped off to make space. I can't help but feel the board is purposely ignoring the real issues within this squad (reliable CB & CF).
  10. Watching his performance against Egypt a number of days ago, he was invisible (the entire squad except one are either playing in the domestic league or Gulf). I understand judging players in isolation isn't ideal, as it could have been an "off day." By the same token, he did nothing in a game he should have really dominated, and there's a reason he's rarely featured for Spain in their run to the final. £35m is certainly better than the rumoured fees a few weeks ago. However, if you look at it this way - Gallagher in exchange for him. Is that good business? Right now, I know who I'd rather have.
  11. Him & Badi should have been long gone, tbh. Chalobah being HG works in our favour. In an ideal world, all three are sold with a notable replacement coming in. Time is ticking.
  12. I have a hunch Conte will keep pushing for this, and it will finally happen, but someone else will step in for Osimhen. No clue why something so simple (from the outside) is being dragged out.
  13. He came through our academy. You should realise by now that isn't something to our board's liking. In all honesty, we currently have six CB's in our squad. I don't see anything happening (we obviously need a good starting point CB) unless one or more are sold.
  14. That's all Sky Sports were saying when Lukaku joined, especially after our early season win at The Emirates. Saying that, I do feel Osimhen would solve that one issue we've had season after season for far too long.
  15. DDF is seemingly being sold this window as well. It seems far too soon to be doing that, but it's quite clear the board don't have much of a long term goal in place aside from making profit.
  16. Aside from that season when he was seemingly the only attacker that turned up, I felt the same way. An incredible frustrating player. Pedro still doing his thing in Serie A. He just has that eye for goal,
  17. I agree. Lavia seems a perfect fit for what Enzo is after. We were aiming for titles back then. Different times, different expectations.
  18. His all around play is generally sloppy, which is holding him back. He is the only "old school" winger we have that can actually take on his man & at times, deliver something.
  19. He's anything but a squad player the way our team is looking.
  20. Madueke has stepped up during preseason. He seems like our most dangerous attacker (on tour).
  21. Our highest paid player. Can someone, anyone, take him off our hands?
  22. I feel like that's his only chance of having a successful career here (similar to Kalou). There would be less pressure on him to take each chance that falls to him, & his movement could seriously help whoever leads the line.
  23. I believed young signings had a "separate budget." Sometimes it's difficult to keep track of what's going on. Talk of Osimhen AND Samu. You just know it's setting us up for a fall & we'll just end up with the latter.
