  1. We all know what's inflating the fee. I wonder when more EPL games will be smarter with their money.
  2. An end-to-end encounter. Gala were unlucky with that PK call. I really can't stand the term "interpretation." I remember something similar happening in the Liverpool game, & no PK was given. It should be black & white whether the game is being played.
  3. I seriously hope he acts in a similar with the board. His performances on the pitch during his time here have shown that in his mind he's "above" the others. I guess giving him that sort of wage went to his head. Having him & Lukaku permanently gone at last would make this window a good one.
  4. There's no drop off from Palmer playing to Madueke.... C'mon now. Madueke & Mudruyk are basically unknown quantities. You know they could offer something on a good day, but you wouldn't put much hope on them doing so. Felix's ability has never been in question; it's his mentality that has been. Would this deal have happened if Gallagher went to an EPL club or we actually stuck to our guns with the "overwhelming" interest in Samu? My guess is rather unlikely.
  5. Enzo playing the entire game at AM has been a massive fail. Nkunku & Palmer having lesser roles as a result. As I mentioned in a previous post, if Enzo is undroppable because of the armband, we'll have major issues creating chances.
  6. No closing down & Sanchez doing what we all know. We've gifted a weakened City side the win. Boehly leaving early - Let's hope making calls ASAP.
  7. Bailing Colwill out, time after time. He's been dreadful.
  8. I was obviously trolling with the last one. It's just rough watching someone fail at the most important thing in football on a regular basis.
  9. Is Enzo going to be undroppable because of the armband? 😐
  10. Get Osimhen, Toney, or current R9. I can't be dealing with Jackson losing us points on a weekly basis.
  11. If we swapped him around with Nkunku, we might actually be winning.
  12. No one in their right mind should be giving Jackson the benefit of the doubt as CF (offside or not).
  13. That's always been the case. I really don't see a position for him in the starting XI against better sides. He doesn't offer anything of note at either end.
  14. The difference between Haaland & Jackson shown within 15 mins. No idea what Colwill & Fofana were doing.
  15. I can only imagine Enzo kept his cards close to his chest because of who the player is, unlike Chilwell & co. It's hard to see this situation ending any other way than a move away, most likely a loan.
  16. Enzo? I'm guessing you mean Caicedo instead, as the former has been a complete liability on the turnover. We've only seen flashes of Lavia in preseason after his long layoff. I'm still very surprised KDH isn't starting considering why he was signed.
  17. The manager has every right to pick the players he thinks are best for the squad. Sterling was present for the entirety of the preseason, so Enzo clearly saw enough & decided (hopefully) he's surplus to requirements.
  18. I'm worried about that midfield defensively. Enzo make big calls, which I can't say I'm disappointed about. Certain players just don't have a role anymore.
  19. The latter would probably command a big transfer fee unless we stupidly (IMO) offered Madueke in the deal. I honestly wouldn't be shocked if the Osimhen doesn't happen, we go again for Samu.
  20. Enzo Maresca ruthlessly tells Chelsea star he should leave the club (msn.com) Like it or not, it's refreshing to see a manager give a direct answer. His fitness issues, like many others, have played a big part in his failure to nail down LB, seeing who his competition has been.
  21. The FA/PL, I was putting them under the same bracket, but thank you for correcting me. Either way, the PL could try to save face rather than let it be known that City managed to get away with all of this for over a decade. I'm sure by the time whatever punishment comes their way, most of their key players will be long gone, including the manager (there's more to his timely desire to move on in the next year or so).
  22. There has to be consistency across the board with how the FA deals out punishments. If we do end up with a lengthy transfer ban as rumours have suggested, City ought to be getting the book through at them (I honestly can't see a world where relegation isn't mentioned should things be fair when it comes to the "do the crime, do the time" motto). Corruption will have well and truly taken over the British game (at least) if they get away almost scot-free.
  23. It's probably because of who they are and the EPL's lack of notable action thus far. Do the FA actually have it in them to make an example of City, or are the likes of Everton & Forest their main concerns?
  24. After a four year investigation from breaches going back to 2009. Might as well hand them another title in the meantime, then.
