  1. Sanchez and greediness. That's giving Brighton hope.
  2. Something else from Palmer. He really should have 4 as well.
  3. Webster ain't getting back. That should be a red all day.
  4. We are one side Brighton shouldn't be playing that line against especially considering who they have at the back.
  5. Third time is the charm. I thought Jackson had messed up the chance up, as he was clearly in to minds. Brighton seem so open. We could have easily scored 3 in as many minutes.
  6. Great pass from Enzo. Palmer should have probably passed to be sure, but Jackson didn't help him either. We managed to miss a 3v1 last season, IIRC.
  7. Just when Sanchez was getting some praise. Erratic!
  8. I thought Felix or Nkunku might have gotten the nod to start with Palmer possibly starting out wide.
  9. Do you think Slonina won't be in the picture at all, @Vesper?
  10. I'd say decent is probably an understatement. Nkunku might have scored against Bournemouth, but Sanchez was the reason we were even still in the game at that point.
  11. The current result aside, I have no idea how ten Hag is still at United. He really should have been sacked well before the FA Cup final. Either way, it's a win-win for everyone else.
  12. Nkunku has his shooting boots on (poor keeping has helped, tho).
  13. It might only be Barrow, but I'm still worried about that midfield. 😅
  14. A loan of any sort should have been agreed once the club had intentions of signing Sancho. I can't see him playing more than a handful of games until Jan. He's right at the bottom of the pecking order having failing to impress when given chances in the opening games.
  15. They sure do love their FB/WB's over there.
  16. Kepa gifting Liverpool the lead after a dominate display from the away side. Some strike too. I don't understand how more clubs haven't looked at Mbuemo & Wissa, tbh (CAF, no doubt).
  17. We hadn't kept a cleansheet in 17 away league matches prior to last week, now two in a row. Some encouraging signs all over the pitch.
  18. Jackson will receive the majority of the credit today, and rightfully so, for playing a role in all three goals, but Caicedo has been outstanding today, possibly his best performance for us. On track to win at London Stadium for the first time in three and a half years.
  19. Jackson taking his chances. Colour me surprised
  20. Which fans? I'm all for having more teams and such, but the lesser teams from stronger leagues should have to qualify like 10 or so years ago. That would certainly limit the number of sides of this calibre qualifying for the "biggest club competition" in the world. Even though I don't mind the change in format, I was worried about one-sided scorelines being commonplace. Let's see what happens over the next two days. With regards to the Super League, you need the product as a whole, and smaller teams do their bit to add to it. Milan V Liverpool tonight might not have ended 9-2; however, it was a very one-sided affair, with the post saving Milan on numerous occasions.
  21. I remember that night where Lyon did the unthinkable against Zagreb to qualify for the KO stages (Gomis scored the fastest CL hattrick which was only beaten recently by Salah) & noises of corruption were rife. Any talk of that tonight? There's no excusing this type of scoreline in such a competition.
  22. A rough night for him. He conceded seven against United.
  23. Kane with his third PK. That is surely a CL record, right?
  24. Captain America gives Milan the lead within 3 minutes. Is Arne's honeymoon over already?
