  1. Yeah exactly!! I don't want to sleep away another day just so he can complete the deal!! I really hope e can sign today. I think it's stupid that they're delaying this deal. I guess it's the same with Man City and Mario Balotelli at the moment, but it is frustrating!!
  2. After seeing the video LDNBlue posted up, I just can't wait to start following him and watching him play. Ramires and Essien in the same midfield just makes my mouth water!! GOD I can't wait!!
  3. a song for Ramires if ever he scores a goal! RAMIRES.... WOOOAH! RAMIRES.... WOOOAH! HE SCORED A FUCKING GOAL! HE'S BETTER THAN JOE COLE!
  4. One of the only real playmakers we had at the club, even though at times I didn't rate him as a player, he gave 100% for us. It was a pleasure supporting you Deco, thanks for the 2 years of your service! Good luck!
  5. Totally agree! I feel there's a young variety there, which is just what we need to make the squad look fresh, rather than old and stale-looking. I honestly believe that we should make another bid for Neymar before the transfer window closes.
  6. KAKA: RAMIRES WILL BE WORLD CLASS AT CHELSEA Brazil ace Kaka has told Chelsea: In Ramires you’ve signed the best young central midfield player in the world. Real Madrid playmaker Kaka, 28, knows all about his young compatriot and said: “I am pleased that Ramires has joined a top European club. “But I actually think it’s pretty scary for the Premier League and for teams who are looking to win the European Cup this season. “For me there is no doubt that Chelsea have signed the very best young central midfield player in the world. “Now he is at Chelsea I think he will become the best midfield player in the world within two years and will be placed in the same bracket as Claude Makelele, Roy Keane and Patrick Vieira. “Not only is Ramires a great player but he is a humble boy and is always willing to listen and learn from those that have been in the game a long time.” And in a chilling warning, Kaka told the Daily Star Sunday: “Frank Lampard still probably has another two years left at the top and I am sure he can be a great mentor to him. “Those two can form a devastating partnership that nobody in the Premier League will be able to cope with. Ramires is the complete central midfield player. He can tackle, pass, he works hard, he is strong and he can score goals. “He will make the Chelsea midfield look frightening. “At such a young age, Ramires plays with no fear and playing at such a big club and in such big games won’t trouble him.” Kaka added: “I don’t see anybody stopping Chelsea making it two Premier League titles in a row.” Another man backing Chelsea to win the title again is Andrea Pirlo, who played under Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti at AC Milan. Pirlo, 31, said: “Chelsea have the strongest team in Europe this year, stronger than Real Madrid and Barcelona. “In fact, they can win the Treble, including the European Cup.” --------------------------- Source:- The Daily Star ---------------------------

  8. welcome to talkchelsea dude!
  9. if that's the case, what are the odds of Rio Ferdinand doing the same in the future? Always thought he had a smug, greedy look about him!
  10. Okay he's not with us anymore but... Ex-Chelsea star Michael Ballack has followed in the footsteps of former teammate and England captain John Terry after being accused of impregnating a fellow star’s girlfriend. Bayern Munchen right back Christian Lell, 25, who currently plies his trade for Bundesliga side Hertha BSC has accused Ballack of romping with his long term lover Daniella Aumann, 23. The Germany captain is married with three kids. The couple who split up, but are now back together are going to have the baby, however the former teammate of Ballack blasted the Germany captain. Lell said: “Ballack enters into other people’s pivate lives and ruins them without further thought. But maybe when you are the Germany captain that’s how you think. “Daniela and I are looking forward to the baby.” Ballack left Chelsea in the summer and signed on a free transfer for former club Bayer Leverkusen. ----------------------------------------- Source:- Sport.co.uk -----------------------------------------
  11. yeah I know! I can't afford to sleep away another day just so this deal can be done! I wanna use him on my PES 2010 master league game
  12. this might sound like a Mourinho-esque quote but, "if Carlo doesn't want Coentrao, he doesn't want Coentrao... if Carlo wants Ashley to stay, then Ashley stays"
  13. Jesus! I hate to be somewhat impatient, but I can't believe they're delaying the completion of this deal! Surely it's gotta be sorted and signed now!!
  14. AIK Stockholm unfortunately, after winning the Allsvenskan last season, they've had a crap season! but my favourite player at AIK is Kenny Pavey! Forza Gnaget!
  15. Chelsea have been offered Real Madrid misfit Karim Benzema as part of Jose Mourinho's plan to lure Ashley Cole to the Bernabeu. Aware that Chelsea are on the look out for another world-class striker after seemingly missing out on Liverpool's Fernando Torres, Real are prepared to offer the £30million-rated Frenchman plus cash for the England left back. Cole has told Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti he would be open to a move to reunite with former boss Mourinho due to personal problems. He fits the bill for the Portuguese manager, who is not convinced by his current options, Marcelo and Alvaro Arbeloa, and missed out on new Manchester City signing Aleksandar Kolarov. ------------------------------------------------ Source: The Daily Mail ------------------------------------------------
  16. Haven't had any news all day about Ramires signing?? Has anyone got anythng
  17. Exactly! And Joe Cole spent 7 years with us!
  18. BERTRAND TO FOREST Posted on: Thu 05 Aug 2010 Ryan Bertrand has today signed for Nottingham Forest on loan until January 3, 2011. The left-back, who celebrates his 21st birthday today, has been involved in this summer's pre-season under Carlo Ancelotti, but returns to the Championship where he has represented several sides on temporary deals over the past couple of seasons. Last year was spent at Reading, where he missed just two league games, having spent the previous 18 months with Norwich, making 60 appearances. Ryan is a regular in the England Under 21 squad, and this week was named alongside fellow Chelsea men Jack Cork, Michael Mancienne and Daniel Sturridge in the squad to face Uzbekistan in Bristol next week. ----------------------------- Source:- Official Chelsea Website ----------------------------- I guess it will give Bertrand more playing time, but it just seems annoying we're loaning out our talented youngsters again!!
  19. I love how they claim that Zhirkov had a "torrid first season". He obviously didn't. Whenever he played for us he was awesome, he just couldn't get enough game time because Ashley Cole is the first choice left back. I honestly hope we don't sell him! Like you say, he's an asset to the team, and rightly so.
  20. Zenit St Petersburg are considering a £21million bid to take Chelsea defender Yury Zhirkov back to Russia. The 26-year-old endured a torrid first season at Stamford Bridge, struggling with injuries in both knees and making just 10 Premier League starts following an £18.6m move from CSKA Moscow. Chelsea agreed to sign Zhirkov before Carlo Ancelotti arrived and the Russia international has struggled to fit into his manager’s plans. He has mostly been used as Ashley Cole’s understudy, despite forging a reputation at CSKA as an attacking left winger. Runaway Russian Premier League leaders Zenit would give Zhirkov a prominent role as they build a side for the Champions League and are also on the brink of signing Porto captain Bruno Alves for £18.2m. Zhirkov refused to comment, saying he was only focussed on being fit for the new season with Chelsea. ‘I can say that I am a Chelsea player and It’s a great honour to play for the club,’ he said. ‘The knee is not a worry. The competition in our club for places is great . But I really want to play and will do everything I can to break into the team.’ ------------------------------------ Source:- Daily Mail ------------------------------------
  21. We need to stay positive. After all, this is only pre-season, and if anyone is feeling nervous, Manchester City have had a shit pre-season as well, they lost 3-1 today against Dortmund, so we shouldn't worry too much, we need to trust in king Carlo! KTBFFH!!!
  22. I guess we can close this thread now??
  23. Chelsea have agreed a fee with Benfica for midfielder Ramires, according to Sky Sports News sources. The premier league champions have been strongly linked with a move for the dynamic utility man with some suggesting he had already completed a medical. But sources at Sky Sports have now claimed a fee has been agreed between the two clubs in the region of £17-£18m. The formalities of the transfer should be concluded in the coming days. ----------------------------------------- Source:- Football Talk ----------------------------------------- In the coming days?? I was hoping he was going to sign today! Welcome to Chelsea Ramires :blue scalf: :blue scalf:
  24. Well, what have I learned over the three pre-season defeats we've seen on this tour?? Well one thing springs to mind... our defence is stale, shaky, wobbly, and above all.... SHITE! Why is Ancelotti playing Jeffrey Bruma at right back, when CLEARLY he's a natural centreback?? And Carvalho, one of the most reliable defenders we have at this club, getting turned over by an unknown Korean is just a complete joke! John Terry is nowhere near the player he was last season... it's not as if he was the best defender last season.... but yeah, he's past it. He's just far too slow at clearing the ball. I honestly think it was a bad thing that he got booked because he had to be careful for the rest of the game. Probably the best performer for me was Obi Mikel. He held the ball up superbly, and he put in some lovely balls to the strikers up front. Drogba was selfish, a couple of times he was through on goal, and he tried to be flash and the goalkeeper just came and collected it up from his feet. Kakuta did well... I thought he won the ball rather well at times, but later on in the game, he just got careless and he was easily robbed of the ball. To summarise, we really need to improve our defensive tactics, otherwise we might as well drop the title down a well next season. With that defence I also fear how we're going to do next season. I hope we're not going to do an AIK Stockholm. Win the league title one season, and then next season, find it hard to win games!! Absolutely pathetic pre-season. Probably the worst we've had in years
