  1. Chelsea's teenage midfielder Josh McEachran is a target for Hamburg now their former director of football Frank Arnesen has moved to the German club. McEachran has not finalised terms on the contract he expected to sign on his 18th birthday in March. Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona are also watching the situation. ------------------------ Source:- The Daily Mail ------------------------ We seriously better fucking sort this out!! I didn't expect to see an article like this
  2. So lucky you are Steve! Hope you enjoy yourself!! If you were going anywehere in Scandinavia I would REALLY be jealous haha
  3. That run was simply sublime! Makes Malouda look like an old timer!
  4. Caicedo wanted to leave City if I remember rightly! He has no chance of getting opportunities at City!
  5. Makelele deserves a place in that team. He has a positional role named after him, "The Makelele role" ... he was that good!!
  6. I swear City have another striker. Didn't they sign up the young Israeli striker Gai Assulin from Barcelona on a free transfer, who was meant to be Israel's answer to Lionel Messi??
  7. Aguero has spoken so much about Chelsea, saying that playing in the Premier League along with Lampard and Drogba excites him. Surely he must still be thinking that. I think in the same article I read 2 or 3 years ago, it said that Man City were not ready in terms of "big club" status, and he didn't want to join Inter Milan. Mind you David Silva said something like that, and look where he ended up!
  8. Keeping the likes of Aguero, Higuain and Benzema happy during a season will be quite a challenge though! Hasn't Benzema been linked with a move to Arsenal in recent weeks as well, and there's been talk of Higuain leaving the club for the Premier League. Not sure how true those rumors are though!
  9. welcome to the forums dude! By the way I take it that's you in your avatar? I hope you don't mind me saying, but you look a lot like David Walliams!!
  10. Redknapp?? Seriously Please tell me you're kidding!
  11. One can only dream of an attack as penetrating as that! One thing about that however, is that Torres doesn't play as a supporting striker! I would switch Torres and Neymar around!
  12. that's far too long to wait, while Aguero is declaring that he wants to leave Atletico now!!
  13. The Neymar thread is already winning by about 20-odd pages
  14. Mourinho was at Chelsea for long enough to be in that sort of position, too bad he fell out with the board because of disagreements. Otherwise, we would still have him as manager today!
  15. That's one prime example of Roman's thin-wearing patience on top class managers. Either that, or the expectations of the club are ridiculusly high (which, to be fair, they are). If Carlo's credentials were available to the footballing world (i.e. he had no club, but had the tactical mettal to just go to any club and promote them) I bet a club like West Ham would break the bank to aquire his services. The point I'm making, is rather than stick with a manager, who enjoys managing the club, despite not winning anything in a season, and quite a large chunk of that season goes tits up, Roman just disposes of them like worn out sandpaper. They look good once they first start out, then when there's any sign of wearing out, it just gets chucked. I don't think Roman understands the true meaning of "the long run". If a manager is kept at a club for long enough, he will understand the setup more. He will understand the type of players to buy every summer/January period. He will understand the formations to pick every week, and he will learn to take responsibility of the players regarding their performance.
  16. Villas-Boas has worked at Chelsea before, so he knows the system that we use, and what our strengths and weaknesses are, as well as learning from his counterpart, Mourinho, and he's brought silverware himself to Porto... he's not a bad manager to invest in. But what amazes me, is that Boas is only 33 years old! That's terribly young to win a piece of silverware, and the Europa League as well!
  17. I'm shocked!! nah just kidding, I suppose everyone knew who he was before they announced it
