  1. This bloke needs to realize every time he or his client opens their mouths a PR disaster awaits.
  2. A few months or so ago, it was the same with us.

    Willian

Daft twat. Great player and all on his day (not enough of them I reckon) but childish and petulant behaviour on this account.
  4. Apart from the cross, he's partially to blame for the two goals. As Wisey pointed out for the first goal we conceded, he showed no interest in tracking back to help out defense. And for Southampton's second, he showed no interest in putting a challenge at the far post.
  5. He'll probably ask for Willian in return somehow.
  6. Dare I say he's probably the most consistent world class player that we have?
  7. Gutted. Always thought he was the ideal assistant manager (former player, skipper and a fan), was let go unfairly by the club in 2010-2011 but to his credit was never bitter and handled it with class.
  8. Probably needs another loan. Lack of common sense and forever makes the wrong decisions. Even if he had an assist today, it was mostly down to Lloris.
  9. That's his character and that's why there's hope for the seasons to come. But defense is an utter mess right now, no leadership and no commitment. Midfield is fine as long as someone competent is next to Kante. Alli's 2nd goal is a prime example. JT (and perhaps Cahill for all his faults) would be throwing themselves to stop that. And of course, Conte just keeps playing Moses as a joke to the board.
  10. We can count our lucky stars we have someone like him on the team. Never lack of effort and always puts tremendous amount of shift (especially when Cesc is around).
  11. I'd rather see Luiz straight back in if he's recovered. I think after Christensen it has to be either Luiz or it might as well be Ampadu. Cahill is Cahill and I'm not entirely convinced by Rudiger playing in the center.
  12. What bothers me the most is how poor Azpi and easily exposed was. I expect that shit from Cahill but not from Dave.
  13. In all seriousness he's out of form and he's detrimental to the team's performance. We can't keep playing him and expect him to get better.
  14. He should play away from matches.
  15. That's a bit unfair, but I think the people down south in America also suffer from the same sort of stereotype.
  16. Maybe because he never got into good positions often enough to miss three sitters in a game
  17. If Hazard was taller that would be the ideal solution... Michy seems the better finisher with his feet but ultimately inferior with his overall hold up and link up play.. not sure playing alongside Morata will guarantee goals.. I'd rather put Pedro up front, dude can score from anywhere...
  18. He's Drogba with his head, but Torres (Chelsea version) with his feet... He does make good chances for himself with his runs and strength but squanders them inevitably..
  19. In recent times, none of our RBs can put a decent ball into the box.. Paulo Ferreira comes to mind as the last RB that can cross a decent ball consistently. Ivanovic in his latter years was bad when defending against pacey wingers but going forward he always was an outlet and contributed goals/assists. Seems like even Bosingwa would be an improvement over this chap, ffs I hope I'm proven wrong.
  20. He had a good game. As for the missed chance, that's down more to great goalkeeping I think. Oblak rushed out quickly and made himself as big as possible, so credit where credit's due.
  21. What a flick that was. Take a bow, son.
  22. Solid, does his job quietly but he does he personify calmness. But there was the last few minutes where Fellaini wrecked havoc by being a nuisance in the box. Overall, I think he and Azpi were superb in making Lukaku look every bit the flat track bully that he is. Kept Lukaku in their pockets and also nullified the threat of Rashford (who was United's most dangerous player) really well. He's got to start the next game on the basis of this performance.
  23. Last time we played with two out and out strikers regularly was when we had Eidur and JFH. I'm not counting Zola as he operated more like Hazard as a second striker in his latter years. Even Anelka was shoe horned out wide to accomodate "Kalouda" and Drogs. From the top of my head, Anelka/Torres, Drogs/Sheva and Drogs/Crespo were onces that were tried out. I'm not sure why we haven't given it go from the start. Can we be even more vulnerable in defense/midfield playing while playing two up top? After yesterday's horror show, I sincerely doubt it. It couldn't be any more worse.
  24. Him and Alonso were dreadful, too easily exposed by their wingback. For the 2nd goal, I'm not sure what he was thinking. Goes out of position to follow the player, leaves his area open and ends up stumbling. Classic.
