  1. Feels like back to square one since he came back from injury. During the Stoke and Atleti games he showed great strength and power in holding the ball up and linking up, looks like after the injury he'll need to find his feet again.
  2. Well done Huddersfield. Hopefully that will shut Jose's gob for at least a week, although I wouldn't count on it. As a wise man once said, "defending properly is not a crime."
  3. Reading between the lines, it seems Clement is indicating if we want him back, Tammy won't get to play as many games as he would like. Sounds like the old Madness song, "Now pass the blame and don't blame me". Either way, looks like recalling him isn't a good idea. Can we get Drogs to come back for a short stint again?
  4. Why replace someone who scored two and is a threat to the opposition with someone who has been shit for the last month or so.
  5. What the eff happened to him? He was somewhat okay in the opening game against Burnley. It was only after the transfer window closed he started turning up shit performances week after week. Did Jose get a hold of him during the transfer window and told him to play like utter @!# so he could to United for cheap?
  6. I know what you mean, but I'm not sure we should buy somebody else as It'll hurt Tammy's chances further next season. It's either now or never and it's up to Conte and Tammy. But for heaven's sake, just give him a chance. He might end up like Chalobah or Ake if he knows there's going to be another striker in our books and him going further down the pecking order. Bats is a decent striker (I personally think he's better if he plays alongside another striker) but up front on his own? The way he was taken out of the game was eerily similar to the Burnley game on opening day. If only we played Qarabag and Forest every week.
  7. He needs to stop starting the usual suspects who are a liability to the team with their poor form. Willian keeps on getting selected despite clearly playing utter tosh football is not a good message for the bench players who deserve an opportunity. (exhibit A - Musonda's rant) Rudiger and Andreas playing great when given the opportunity and then Captain Cahill comes back and gets exposed as usual.
  8. Needs to realize he's better off as a super sub against top flight teams. Sure he can bag goals against minnows but seems to lack the basic elements of being a striker. Hold up play is poor, doesn't press or be a nuisance to opposition defenders..it's really easy to take him out of the game. Should recall Abraham in Jan, we just can't cut it with him backing up Morata.
  9. Stupid move indeed, but he never struck me as being a bright footballer. Remember the gaffe last season where he "accidently" liked an ArsenalFanTV video that called for Wenger to be sacked?
  10. Interesting you brought up the Nordic connection, Eidur was also known as the "Iceman" here. But it wasn't only just because he was from Iceland.
  11. I'm pretty sure his blood pressure rate is a flat line during matches. So calm and collected even under pressure. The exact opposite of Cahill.
  12. Conte had to sub him off. If the Burnley debacle didn't happen I'm sure he would be kept on. But we've seen how ref can get influenced by crowds and start giving a spree of cards. On top of that, our players need more sense and keep a calm head. If Conte didn't sub him off, any 50-50 challenge which he lost, no doubt Dean would've sent him off. He needs to learn from Kante on how to deal with being carded.
  13. Second goal was brilliant, shades of Suarez the way he ran and finished. Could've finished the game with 5 goals to be honest. Thanks to John O' and Fletch.
  14. Yea, it was him. While the fella that played against Arsenal was Ampadu disguised as Luiz.
  15. I think he should probably aim at being Liverpool's next goalkeeper. Surely has to be his calling.
  16. They'll need to get rid of Martinez if they want any chance of winning the WC. Just don't see it happening while he's in charge.
  17. The way he holds off challenges and snakes past players, top class. Musonda did well too but he should be looking at Hazard for how to deal when the opponent tries to gets physical on you. Not saying that Forest were overly physical, but Hazard is the benchmark for similar players who want to play with flair against physical opponents. He's proven it in the top flight against stronger and larger opponents (almost like Kante), makes it look so easy. Brilliant and smart on/off the ball and deceivingly strong as well. If Musonda can develop further and be anywhere near to Hazard in this aspect, we're pretty much set for years to come.
  18. Needs to realize as long as he's playing for us and not Madrid, he won't get many calls in his favour from the ref.
  19. Wish he would realize his limitations and stop trying to play out from the back ffs. I don't know if it's how Conte wants his defenders to play (doubt it), but this has to stop. His strengths are his last ditch tackling and being able to put himself about when defending. He doesn't have JT's range of passing or positional sense and most likely never will. Apart from that, he's a good outlet on attacking set pieces, this is probably one thing he has over JT.
  20. Had no idea what he was thinking lunging in like that given how he was sent off against Burnley.
  21. I was only expressing an opinion, I didn't realize it was going to provoke such a strong response. What harm does a meager opinion on a football forum would do for a top footballer? I'm not even attacking or moaning/whinging at him for not doing this or that. I just thought it would do him better if he would be more selfish in those situations, it's just wishful thinking on my part...end of story. But agreed, I probably could've just let it slide after the first response I got. . It was indeed a pointless argument...circle jerk and all that...
  22. Seriously mate, just put me in ignore. If my posts when I'm not actually whining or moaning about our players bother you this much.. I'm afraid of what it will do to your blood pressure when I do actually whine and moan about our players... We just won a match today and the players came out unscathed but from the way you're posting it's as if we just lost 4-0 and lost Hazard for the season because he broke his leg through shooting from distance...
