You don't know what's going on inside the team locker room. You don't know what's going on in the training sessions. You don't know what Mourinho and Torres have talked about between them. There could be a hundred reasons for the manager to change his stance regarding a player within one week.

Salah hasn't been given many chances since he's come to Chelsea but so far he has grasped the few chances he was given, similarly to how Willian did. I predict he will gradually get more and more chances until he becomes a regular like Willian. Now compare Salah's attitude to that of KDB. He comes on and runs his ass off. Makes a tremendous effort to be a part of the game. De Bruyne would come on for 10 minutes, do nothing and then people would complain Jose was to blame for not giving him more time. Real players make the most out of what they have, even if what they have isn't much.

Clearly, the game plan today was to have Torres score 1 or 2 goals to gain confidence for PSG. It didn't work out. I would say play Ba but since he didn't get any minutes, I find that highly unlikely. When it comes to strikers, we're screwed for this match.

Jose has failed to achieve titles with this Chelsea team so far, but we have been the only ones capable of challenging City for the league and until now our run in the CL was quite respectable, as well as our performances against our domestic rivals. All of that despite all the faults in our squad. While people are obviously frustrated, I don't believe anyone here will say Mourinho will still fail to achieve even if we fix the key positions we need to fix. He did fail to fix SOME of all the issues with our squad in the summer, but obviously one thing is to make an analysis of the faults in the team you're watching play, another thing is to make an analysis of the faults in the team you're working with. Like it or not, selling Mata and KDB were 2 of the best decisions Mourinho has done since rejoining Chelsea. KDB was a flop who had the work rate of a 60 year old and Mata has been at Manchester United a shadow of what he was at Chelsea. I also feel disappointed that we didn't win the quadruple in Mourinho's first season back at Chelsea, but I still have faith in this Chelsea project.

I'm almost sure he will be used as part of the deal with Atletico for Costa. Just like I'm almost sure Costa will be a flop in the PL.

Although we shouldn't forget we did dominate them in their own turf during the first half aside from Terry's mistake. If we can have Etoo for the second leg, 2-0 is hard but not impossible. PSG is not much better than Arsenal tbh. Better, but not much better.

2-0 would be doable with Matic and Etoo. But at the Bridge we won't have Matic, David Luiz, Ramires nor Willian. On their side, the only important player they will be missing is Cavani, who was a flop in this game and they still won 3-1.

3-1. Two goals due to Cech's mistakes. Only 1 day after Courtois put up one of the most brilliant goal keeping performances in the CL. I'm not gonna say he's the only one to blame for our loss but out of everything we can take from this game, this is one.
