  1. He would have done better than Baines yesterday, on the bright-side he's getting invaluable rest to recharge his batteries so he can be in top condition for us.
  2. I think Mourinho is meticulous enough to know that from now on he's a starter for us. We look much stronger and cohesive with him in the side. He strengthens our back 5, allows Ramires to roam up and down, and lets our attacking wizards to cause havoc. Yes he's not world-class but he's a good player that suits us until we sign someone better.
  3. He has been top notch and is still young for a goalie. Yes he made one mistake but he has more than made up for it. The only problem is I think we won't see Courtois in our jersey because we can't just bump Cech out of the team as he's fantastic and our loanee's contract is running down with the world's top clubs lurking about and ready to pounce him off us. It's a bit of a dilemma but there's nothing we can do for the time being.
  4. Brazil - Honduras on BT Sport 1 tonight, I might stay up and watch it, Hopefully he'll get a game and boost his confidence. Easy sitters aside he's been one of our better players.
  5. Just to reiterate on what I said, he was horrendous in the second half as well. Every single game he plays all he does is back away from players running at him. I have no doubts he will be gone in the summer.
  6. I'm not saying they're exactly alike footballing wise, we all know KDB is the better player, but Kevin is in a similar situation to what Marin faced last season, meaning a set of circumstances is preventing him from shining, and he hasn't been helping himself the way he's performed so far this season with us.
  7. If by abusing me you mean directly calling me names, then yes he has. Like I said I don't care because I no longer bat an eye to what he writes, I haven't read a single line of his posts for ages. I still wish him well - he looks at things nostalgically whilst I have an objective approach. And this is a football forum and a bit of name calling and swearing here and there is healthy in my books, people are getting too soft these days.
  8. I wouldn't bet on that if I were you. Phil has called me names before, not like I care or anything.... On topic, do people finally see what I mean by not wanting Lampard starting games for us at this level? We would be a much stronger side without him, period.
  9. I think he is this season's Marko Marin, we know he's talented but just not working out on the pitch and apparently on the training ground as well.
  10. All over the place, being found out yet again. Never a Chelsea player.
  11. Fuck. Is that Wilkins next to him, to his lower right?
  12. That's unlucky for the lad, was Mourinho really in the stands?
  13. Cover? We need a midfield partner for him first.
  14. You're only saying that because you never watch him (Hernanes) play, he's absolutely class.
  15. I think he's amazing, I've been an admirer of his since his Barcelona days, I've watched a lot of PSG games lately, mostly because of him and his midfield partner Verratti and Matuidi who's been linked with us as well.
  16. I don't think Ash's been that bad bar his last 2 games. There are people who deserve to be stuck on the bench far more than him...
  17. Wow, I fucking love the look of that line up. It's got everything. in terms of defensive solidity, width, pace, flair, etc.
  18. Yep, we're looking at our options judging by the names that are linked with us. I'd love somebody like Hernanes or even Song if we can't get the likes of Witsel, Imbula, Pogba, etc.
  19. It's all about honesty, which I personally deem to be far more worthy than your holier-than-thou fake diplomacy. Lampard is indeed past it, everyone and the club thought likewise before Mourinho appeared in May with a certain unwritten clause on his contract upon returning. And Cahill, as I've said before, is not a Chelsea player in my eyes. Ps, don't even bother replying as I'm done with you regarding these two players, you know my stance, I know yours, full stop. You may punch the ignore button if you please.
  20. Your never-ending sugarcoating of players who are either shite or past it isn't much better either. At least I call a spade a spade.
  21. When it comes to elite level football, commitment is irrelevant when one's talent is ordinary. If commitment without substance were any good, we'd pick out 11 chaps from the stands and win every fucking game.
  22. Not many of them are as cowardly and inept as Cahill though, the fulcrum of his game revolves around perennially backing away from players giving them space to do as they please, especially when they are inside the box.
  23. No, Messi is worth every penny he's paid and more, so are many other fooballers, Cahill on 100 bags a week is the second coming of John Dillinger.
  24. You're insinuating he's worthy of his 100k a week wages? He's robbing us blind.
