I can't wait for the game. Let's hope Mourinho comes up with a sensible line up.
-
He was anything but, he was an assurance to Lampard if anything, meaning he wouldn't have any senior competition, in other words, a cart blanche, so he could have his way.
-
Not quite, Mourinho pulling the plug on our other CM deals is the true reason for that. Not to mention Lampard's determination to play or be played every game based on his interview last week. Those are the real reasons why our midfield isn't only tired but not good enough in the first place.
-
Lost for words, he always came across as a great guy on interviews and talk shows.
-
Well, playing with 10 men doesn't help the cause
-
I saw him out wide as well. He's quick and strong, he might make it here I think.
-
That story might have legs though. Mata nearly signed for PSG on deadline day, they just couldn't agree on the fee or something. Whatever he does next I wish him the best of luck, he deserves better. We've got passengers who have been playing week after week all season and yet someone of Mata's calibre doesn't get a look in.
-
I want us to carve them open real nice, it all depends on how we line up tomorrow.

It would be any manager's greatest achievement, winning the Premier League playing with 10 men.
-
I think our cm is the reason why we haven't clicked both offensively and defensively, and it will continue to be so unless we bring one or two in.

Direct quotes from Lampard a day or two after the West Ham game: "We've got a lot of attacking talent in the team and the manager has got to try and get the best out of that," Lampard, who ended a 10-game run without a top-flight goal at the weekend, said. "I'm playing pretty regularly at the minute and I feel fit and strong. "I want to show that I am good enough to carry on playing and I'll try to do that. I don't want to be a passenger sitting on the bench not doing much, even in my older years. "As you get older you adapt your game and you probably don't bomb up and down as much as you always did, but you can use your experience, and whether you're deeper or not, if you've got a little bit of license to get forward then you can do at the right times." Basically his idea of being a passenger is sitting on the bench or not starting games rather than being a passenger on the pitch. It's a scary prospect to think he'll keep playing every game at this club.

5 brownie points for you sir, white-knight wannabe.
-
Mourinho has to give himself a slap and snap out of his reverie. Either that or he'll be walking the plank in no time, Lampard to follow suit immediately after.
-
Can't see why? Because he's no Pirlo and his passing is beyond overrated by some here.
-
No updates on his injury then? I hope it's not as bad as I think it is, he looked to be in a lot of pain.

It's not as rosy as you paint it to be. There were rumours all over the press in the summer Mourinho wanted Lampard as a lock, week in week out, first 11 player, we can now confirm that as true. That's why he pulled the plug on De Rossi's and our other senior targets for that position and ended up signing Van Ginkel so Lampard didn't feel threatened. It's coming back to haunt him now, and he's gonna pay with his own reputation and job if he doesn't snap out of his delusional reverie as soon as January. It's become unbearable seeing someone who has been appalling all season being deployed week after week whilst others who are far more deserving get ruthlessly overlooked. It's also telling Lampard's was all but signed for the MLS, which is his level now, and yet people keep pretending he's worthy of being in a elite, high level club. He's finished, more so than Giggs who was always fitter than most players, that's why he's still got a contract at 40.
-
Cahill makes even more mistakes in every aspect of the game, and yet he always comes out unscathed. I'd sooner play Ivanovic as CB over him. Aspi at right back and Ryan at LB while Cole is unfit.
-
I can just see Pochettino praying incessantly for Mourinho to keep him in the team. I wouldn't blame him.
-
Him and Cech were the only decent performers yesterday.
-
He's not a Chelsea player in my books, he's nothing but a midtable fodder who's got no business whatsoever being here.
-
He's getting the sack, no two ways about it, and he'll fucking deserve it. He wants to come across as a fair and democratic manager when all he truly is a fucking nostalgic, unscrupulous nepotist.
-
Watching their goal again, this fucking hunk of shit did what he always does, fuck all, and let Salah just walk at will past him and shoot. What a fucking clown!
-
Unless Mourinho changes his blatant favouritism towards him it's gonna happen much sooner than most people think. It's beyond a joke now.
-
Looking forward to seeing Lampard dealing with their relentless pressing.
