I feel sorry for the lad as he's a talent, but if we play devil's advocate, he really hasn't taken his chances other than the game against Hull. Having said that, there are players who have been utterly terrible and yet play every week.
When is Oscar back from injury? His time off was actually great so he could have a proper rest. He's played over 100 games or so in the last 15 months.
If Mourinho is fair - since his return, he hardly ever is - Cahill shouldn't even make the fucking bench. The back four should be: Cesar ---- Iva-----Terry------Ryan/Cole End of. . *Unless Luiz is fit, then he should start.
The skills and tricks - his vision to spot a pass also - he's showing at Vitesse are quite something. I went downstairs and missed a few goals, did he get two goals and two assists against PSV?
I'm watching Vitesse, and Patrick is having yet another great game. I think he's more than good enough to be with us next season. I dare even say he could be a first 11 contender if he keeps this up. He's got the lot.
I would play Terry and Ivanovic whilst Luiz is still out. That way we could have Cesar at RB and either Cole or Ryan at LB. Cahill to be shipped out in January. There's plenty of rumours of us bringing one or two top class CBs. Let that fucking happen.
Good thing I'm not blaming him solely for this game then, as he's always mediocre. He only "plays well" when our back 4 don't have to do any defending.
A bad game? He's been horrendous for ages, and so fucking what he scored? He's a fucking centre half, and that's his fucking job. Besides he hadn't scored in over a year, a goal means fuck all when he's shite all around.
When he's on the pitch, every goal we concede is blamed on him, I wonder what is the excuse now. Terry is far too slow which means we have to give the opposition a lot of space to have him on the pitch while Cahill is nothing but a brainless lanky bobble-head who has no business being here.
Hasn't got the legs to play at this level. We will get found out more and more often the longer he continues to play. This was not the game to give him 20 odd minutes and expect him to make an impact.
My god, what a player! We should offer him a new contract ASAP, get him on 250k a week or else the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern will snap him up in a second!

I'm far too confident for this one. Let's hope it all goes to plan and we come back with 3 more points in the bag. I feel we've got too much for them, regardless of who Mourinho fields.
