I totally understand that mate. and it does irritate me when he bites (not literally like Suarez- couldnt resist hehe). I spend a lot of the games Costa plays shouting at the tv 'DONT FALL FOR IT'. But it just angers me in games like tonight when he gets a booking for something that he didnt instigate. But I guess thats reputations for you, kinda like Suarez with lashing out and Ashley Young with diving.

Really starting to hate the whole 'defenders are allowed to niggle away at Costa' thing. Before I get jumped on, I KNOW he is a bit of a nutter, when controlled and used the right way it's great for our club. I just didn't really enjoy the constant fouls and challenges unfairly put in against him, and pundits seem to think it's part of the game but when Costa snaps (stupidly I know), he's the devil incarnate. Tonights game was a great example of this. I sympathised with him tonight. WBA had a gameplan tonight with him and it worked. Yippee for them. He shouldn't let them get under his skin but it's just a tactic I do not enjoy.

Gerrard player cam? Oh please slip. Also I agree with the sentiments above, my hatred is for the player not the man. It's mostly down to the media wankfest. He is the blue-eyed boy ever since Andy Gray would refer to him as 'Stevie' on commentary. This send off is beyond over the top and just makes sky look daft. I also think a lot of my hatred is down to how he was portrayed in his pomp compared to Lampard, Lamps had to work and score and win things for his praise (albeit small compared to Stevie) whereas Gerrard has just become this God-like figure in British football with no real basis other than that he's a club man. He did no better than Lampard imo (apart from not going to Man City on loan- couldn't resist.), but he's always been held in higher regard, something that never sat right with me as a blue, or even as a football fan in general. Thats my two cents.

Hazard had an off day but he more than earned one of those. Thought Matic looked great when he came on, Mikel was pretty lousy but he hasn't played much. Like the look of RLC but I do hope they aren't trying to make him another John Obi, I think he's got more to offer than that. John Terry beasting as usual. Costa in with the fans was hilarious. Gerrard's post match was hilariously bitter, he scored against us in a nothing game, cost Liverpool big time last season by slipping on his arse, he talks about our fans not turning up but he turns up to help us out when it comes to the crunch. Played well today, made some great interceptions and looked cool and composed on the ball. Hope he gets a full 90 in the game against Sunderland. Well played RLC!!
