Top man for putting his family first, seems such a decent bloke, its the destination rather than his desire to leave that's the hardest part to deal with, he's been a massive part of the Chelsea success in recent years and I thank him for that.

Quite a slow start this year from us but I think we were spoilt with early awesome activity last year. We seem to be linked with a lot of players without a lot of actual evidence to back it up. (Falcao aside obviously). The whole Petr Cech thing is a bitter pill to swallow so hopefully CFC have something in the pipeline for us fans so that we can start to feel a bit more optimistic before pre-season begins. I wonder if this season might be one of those where we don't make many 'massive' signings and instead look at players who would help with squad rotation. Hope I'm wrong because other teams seem to be working hard to close the gap.

All this Baba talk made me think we were signing Celestine Babayaro back.

The closer this move gets to completion the tougher it is to swallow. Not that I'm mad at Petr Cech, he is an absolutely amazing goalkeeper and deserves to be the number 1 at a top European club. I guess just for selfish reasons I want him to go abroad so he isn't a title rival. I feel somewhat similar to when we sold Mata to Man Utd, and since then I've still enjoyed watching the little magician play for them (crazy I know), I think it will be something similar for Cech, he seems a top lad and a great professional. We made our choice that Tibo was the man for us for the now and the future and we knew Petr's days were numbered. Cech has been brilliant this season not only in his limited performances but how he's handled himself. So yeah, for selfish reasons this is a tough one to face, he is a legend at this club, completely amazing in our champions league victory and I for one wish him the very best of luck...but not too much haha!

Cautiously optimistic. Please, please please Jose revive this formerly great striker.

I'd definitely have this guy at the club. Would be gutted to lose Remy though who has been brilliant for us this season contributing well. Austin could have a similar impact though. I approve but only if it's down to Remy wanting out.

This is a weird one for me. I've always wanted Falcao here.....but the Falcao I wanted was the one at Athletico. Fingers crossed he rediscovers his touch and gets going well with the help of hazard, Willian and fabrepass behind him. The prospect of Falcao and Costa lining up together for us does fill me with excitement....is it misplaced? Let's see!!
