  1. Found some really interesting comments from José about parents/agents pushing for a loan move. He mentions stability, but is it stability that he rides the bench for most of the season (albeit learning from Matic/Fabregas). Im guessing he'll get around the same amount of gametime like Kurt Zouma this season (unless he really impresses). But is that really better than getting regular playing time at a lower level club at age 19? Let's not forget, Zouma even had some expierience playing in Ligue 1. I hope it works out, but i doubt it he'll be good enough to become our main B2B player. Here are the comments: Asked about the problems involved with nurturing this generation of rising stars, however, he added: “Without naming names, I could write a book. “In modern football, it is because of the agents and the parents - when the players are almost there, and in the process of being almost there, they think they are already there. “They make the players think they have arrived when they haven’t. They think about money before the career starts, and everything gets very, very confused. "That doesn’t help the players. They need stability. “It’s not the case, but imagine Ruben’s family or agent pushing the kid to go - 'The kid has to go on loan.' Imagine that picture. “That’s not what he needs. In this moment, he needs stability. "He played against Liverpool [starting, and lasting an hour last Sunday]. He’s going to play against West Bromwich. Next season, he starts with us and is stable because he’s part of the squad. He’s not trying to win a position in it. He’s part of it. He’s not going on loan and he knows that. “They need that kind of stability, unless they play in very small clubs when, at 17 or 18, they go direct in the first-team. But to be in a big team and reach the level to be playing regularly for the first-team, you need time and stability. We try to give that to our boys.” Full article: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/chelseas-jose-mourinho-accuses-pushy-5712208
  2. Idd, i watched alot of U21 games this season. And it is Musonda, Colkett and Boga that made them tick. Brown, Solanke, and Tammy are further ahead in the physical aspect but are nowhere near close to the technical ability and creativity of those 3.
  3. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/chelsea-and-marseille-in-talks-to-establish-informal-loan-arrangement-for-blues-starlets-10248254.html Marseille are also pushing for a loan move. The club president seems to be a big fan of both him and Boga. I hope both of them take this chance and push for a move abroad. This is what Musonda had to say about the subject: "Everything will depend on the discussions that I will have with the coach [Jose Mourinho] and the club's management at the end of the season,' he told French publication Foot Mercato. "At the moment, I do not know where I will play next season, but I think a loan is possible. "My priority is Chelsea and, obviously, if I can get more playing time, I will stay. But if this is not the case, I will ask to go on loan." When asked about the benefits of playing in France's top-flight, Musonda replied: "There are a lot of great clubs in Europe who are interested in me, including several French clubs. I know that Marseille, Monaco and PSG follow me. "It [Ligue 1] is a good championship in which I can progress and have a regular playing spot. It is a step that may, perhaps, be necessary for me to be among the best players in Europe." The midfielder, whose father previously played for Anderlecht and whose two older brothers are currently on Chelsea's books, added: "If I have to move to France, it will surely be to play for Monaco or Marseille. "But, again, for the moment I'm at Chelsea and I feel fine [here]." 4. https://instagram.com/p/21YxgUIeBO/?taken-by=cjrmusonda10 Why is he mad? He is getting regular playtime with the u21's, even one of the standout players then. In recent weeks he get's more picks than Jeremie Boga. Or was he expecting that Mourinho would give him some first-team minutes? Anyway, it does seem to me Mourinho would rather develop the english talent ((Christensen, Brown, Loftus-cheek, Baker) of the academy rather than the foreign (Aké seems to be an exception but he was also loaned out for 1 month). What about Boga? He was outstanding in preseason, but was never mentioned anymore since then. Curious if Mourinho will stand in their way for a Ligue 1 loan.
  5. I find it kinda weird that José put's so much fate in Ruben, Brown and Aké. We have far better talents in our academy. He did play okayish today given the circumstances.
  6. His cuntish behavior might not matter today. But somehow i have a feeling it's gonna bite us in the ass in a crucial game next season. Im dreading the day Terry leaves, the team is full with hotheads currently (Matic, Fabregas, Ivanovic, Costa) and we need somebody on the pitch to keep them levelheaded. Chelsea fans deserve better than these players further tainting our reputation (altough it probably is beyond repairable already).
  7. Misses the Community shield and the first PL match! Bravo Cesc, well done. Hope Mourinho drops down the hammer on him, embarrassing...
  8. I think they are only interested in our francophone players. They are talking about 3 players in particular (Boga, Musonda, and dunno who the third is), Boga and Musonda are also our 2 most talented technical players. Marseille isn't Vitesse, and would probably only want our most talented players (no offence towards Traore).
  9. There seems to be alot of interest from Ligue 1 teams in the past few months. Musonda is also linked with AS Monaco. Tbh, it is an ideal place to send some of our best talents there. OM and AS Monaco are still a tier below Chelsea, but both of them will play in Europe (OM is only 2 points behind Monaco with 2 matches to go for a CL spot). I don't think it will be the same as Vitesse because 1. OM isn't really small, they have a huge stadium and following 2. They only seem to be interested in our francophone speaking players. Boga is french, and Musonda speaks Dutch and french fluently. On WAGNH, alot of people are saying these kind of loans are too agressive. But to me both Musonda and Boga are too talented for the Eredivisie/JPL/Championship. If they are good enough they will play.
  10. http://www.dhnet.be/sports/football/monaco-fait-le-forcing-pour-musonda-554a529035704bb01c2a31d0 Linked with AS Monaco again. Could be really interesting, i think he is good enough. It could go wrong ofcourse but tbh, i don't wanna see our big talents in the Championship/Eredivisie/Jupiler Proleague.
  11. Im just gonna keep it too wish signings: AM: Either Bale, Sterling or Isco. Any of these 3 and i would be happy. Reus is too injury prone. CM: Pogba would be a dream, but Koke is almost just as good. CB: Varane. Hope we get atleast 2 of those.... or fuck it 1 would be good as well
  12. Same questions here in regards to how we are going to strengthen our midfield. I don't think José will move Willian into the N10 role, he started there today and last wednesday, but atleast today it was because Oscar was out. Against Leicester he was average in the first-half as a n10, that's why José shifted him back to the right with good effect. Same as today, in the second half José replaced Cuadrado with Mikel and pushed Cesc higher with Willian back on the right wing. Although an argument can be made our AM doesn't really stick to 1 position. Here's some words from Willian's interview: ‘When you play on the wing there is more room but, often, when I start the game out wide I come inside as well. Myself, Eden, Oscar and Cesc always try to move and change position because it helps us and makes it more difficult for the defenders to mark you.’ If we are going to buy another RW, i would prefer Sterling (or Reus). But neither are realistic imho. With that in mind, im guessing WIllian stay's on the right wing and we bring in a Box to box player (Koke, Pogba,...) or a new N10 (Isco). A new Box to box seems the logical choice. This way we can keep Cesc as a deep-lying playmaker (his best position), and it will help us winning the midfield battle. José didn't play 4-2-3-1 in the big matches, but opted for a 4-3-3 with either Ramires or Zouma in midfield. Credit to both players, but we can do alot better in that position. I prefer 4-2-3-1 and Isco would be a dream signing then. But with the players we have, it probably is better to go 4-3-3. A Matic-Fabregas 2-man midfield is too light for the Champions League.
  13. Damn, Hazard does feel pressure sometimes it seems . But fuck it, Great header
  14. Cesc is back! Was a joy watching him play tonight.
  15. Just keep him from the right wing and he delivers . Glad i didn't have to defend him since january.
  16. He's more versatile, surprised he can carry out every midfield role and excell. Winger, N10, B2B.... I think he resembles Iniesta the most.
  17. Got the nod over Boga tonight and was beastly again, huge workrate all night and a nice assist at the end . Hope we can wrap the league quickly so he may get some minutes in our first-team squad.
  18. Hazard doesn't speak dutch, Charly and Thibaut both speak french and dutch fluently.
