I agree, our AM line-up is pretty thin. Replacing one isn't going to help long term. We got Willian, Hazard, Oscar and Cuadrado. Remy can play there too ofcourse, but that shouldn't happen. There is also the fact that there is no competition, didn't we all love the time when KDB, Schürrle, Mata where still here? That's when we actually had a good bench, and we saw alot of rotation without a big drop in quality. At the moment, i really can't see Cuadrado competing with the other AM's (unless he improves dramatically in the physical department). Who can we bring in that is good enough to compete with them, and is available on the market? Griezmann is not (a tad bit overrated in the winger role), not Isco, not Bale, Götze maybe. I can currently only see Sterling coming in, but not for 50 million. He's no prolific goalscorer, but will probably score more than Oscar and definitely Willian + he's only 20. About Vidal, no he's not an AM. But to be honest, we need another CM for the big matches. Our midfield get's dominated every time we meet a team with some quality. City, United, Atletico, PSG with 10 men, and even fucking Spurs. If our aim is to compete at all fronts, we need competition for places, and another quality CM (Vidal) that can slot in with Matic and Fabregas.

Come on José plz, hijack this deal!

Oscar will join the tour. He didn't participate in the Copa America and had a big 2 months rest. Only Willian and Cuadrado won't be back. Seeïng that the full squad is there bar those 2, im curious if he will get some chances to impress. We got some pretty though pre-season fixtures coming up with PSG, Barcelona and Fiorentina.
-
Cuadrado world class? You must be joking, the term get's thrown around to much these day's.
-
Would love him here, but don't wanna see Oscar go. Why not let them fight for the same position ?
-
https://twitter.com/Musondacjr Well this is interesting. Looks like he is joining the first-teams preseason tour (they have to report back for training tomorrow). Unless he means joining up with our U21's, although i think they started training a week ago.
-
The owner confirmed he wasn't coming back.

http://www.espnfc.co.uk/story/2514646/chelsea-forward-isaiah-brown-set-for-vitesse-loan-sources Ship em all too Vitesse lol :s
-
Meh... ah well hope José knows what he is doing.
-
https://instagram.com/p/4ce-S2IeKT/?taken-by=mousinhojr Looks like he already know's where he is playing next season, "season starts in 20 day's". I guess he means pre-season. Off all the clubs he has been linked with, both Arsenal and Olympique Marseille have their first preseason game around that time . But i think it will most likely be Olympique Marseille.
-
Also the fact that his agent is also involved. Looks like he is taking matters into his own hands now, because Chelsea wanted a loan deal to Vitesse. That 12 million offer from Arsenal is quite alot and puts pressure onto Chelsea to either sell him or grant him a loan destination to a better club than Vitesse.

Yeh, i guess this year is Mourinho's chance to show that he does believe in youth. But im not holding my hopes up, the way in wich he directed his comments towards RLC already rubs me in the wrong way. Gary Neville worded it best in the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tIFL2p1fJo 2min 50 onwards.
-
Why? He's currently riding the bench at Wolfsburg, not good enough.
-
Funny that he was Chelsea's young player of the year in 2014. Didn't Mourinho name him as one of the players he would see in England's international team? I love Chelsea, but i absolutely despise their youth policy.

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/450298/Arsenal-Chelsea-transfer-news-Charly-Musonda-Marseille-loan Seems like the club doesn't want to sell him to Arsenal. Olympique Marseille are poised to take him on a 1 year long loan currently.
-
Well i don't think we can blame the staff, they clearly rate him. Remember that we where the only club willing to buy all 3 Musonda brothers (altough the real target was Charly). Arsenal, Barcelona, Manchester City where all interested back in the day. Charly actually got a tour at their training complex through contacts made with Johan Boskamp (who is very close with the family). But they all weren't willing to take in his brothers as well. The staff doesn't decide if Charly get's chances in the first-team, that is Mourinho's choice. We also went through some changes in management since he signed, AVB was the manager when he arrived if i recall correctly. He could've gotten chances under their direction, who know's. He was training regularly with the first-team when Benitez was here. It is also pretty clear that José prefers certain kind of players. Look at Izzy Brown, RLC, Boga... they are all physically well built. Something Musonda does not have. I doubt it even if he went on loan, he would get chances in the future under Mourinho. He just doesn't fit him like Mata/KDB didn't fit him. If he does leave, it will be sad. But i can see Arsenal fitting better for a player with his ambitions and talent. 12 Million is a good price anyway for a youth player that hasn't played first-team football.
-
http://fresharsenal.com/breaking-arsenal-make-8-5million-bid-for-chelsea-midfielder/? Apparently, Arsenal made a 8.5 million pound bid for him... as i recall Chelsea set his value at 10 million euros. I would be very sad if he leaves, but tbh i think he has a bigger chance at making it there because he's not a Mourinho type player.

Regarding his options, since there is so much interest for him im positive he can work out a deal at some of those clubs for a starting role. Just look at Olympique Marseille, they are bleeding players at the moment. They already lost Gignat, Payew and Ayew. Same with AS Monaco, Kondogbia is gone and they are desperate to get rid of Falcao and his wage bills. You also must understand there is clear interest in Musonda. It seems that the club finds it hard to get loan deals for alot of our youngsters, and they either end-up at Vitesse or the Championship. With some luck they overachieve and use that as a stepping stone to higher competitions, Bamford/Thorgan Hazard/Traore. Charly can choose between Marseille, Monaco, PSV, AS Roma, Valencia... im pretty sure atleast one of those clubs can guarantee him regular playing time.
-
I copy pasted that part yesterday, looks like he just removed the stuff about his future. And he mentioned David Mennaseh as his football agent. A while ago Musonda posted a split picture of him with Jorge Mendes, next to a picture of Cristiano Ronaldo with Mendes. I guess most media then assumed that Jorge Mendes was his agent. Anyway, David Mennaseh is a pretty big agent as well. He realised the record-breaking transfer of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.

https://instagram.com/p/4R9ghpIeB7/?taken-by=charlymusondajunior From his instagram: - I'm also well aware of the news, nothing has been done yet. I'm looking forward to playing football next year. I will reflect personally with my family and discuss with my football agent David Mennaseh and come to a conclusion with my club that hopefully benefits the continuity of my progression. So Jorge Mendes is not his agent . Edit: David Mennaseh is also Gareth Bale's agent.

Looks like Chelsea doesn't want to sell him, thank god https://twitter.com/HLNinEngeland Currently there are talks ongoing for a loan deal. Marseille, Valencia and Roma all want to have him on loan. Not mentioning AS Monaco, and PSV. Probably our most in demand youngster! Don't wanna see him go to Roma. Marseille, Valencia and PSV look like decent options for him to develop.

http://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2015/monaco-marseille-fighting-arsenal-manchester-city-for-chelseas-charly-musonda/ City, Arsenal, PSG, Monaco, Marseille are all poaching us for Charly. Would absolutely hate it if he leaves us permanently :s, why not loan him out?
-
http://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2015/monaco-marseille-fighting-arsenal-manchester-city-for-chelseas-charly-musonda/ Lol, what the hell is going on? Monaco, Marseille, Manchester City, Arsenal, PSG all interested:o. Would be a real shame to see him go

http://i.imgur.com/zhmg32O.gifv Will Mourinho allow him to express himself like that next season? It is not the first time he does this kind of stuff for Brazil (that elastico). Also judging from r/soccer, he played better than Neymar for large portions of the game. For the past 2 years it seemed like he was on strict orders not too try anything fancy. Hope that changes now that we won the league.
