He was out cold after that collision. The hand moving etc is like what boxers or MMA fighters sometimes do when they get knowed out. He was unconscious. I feel strongly that when someone gets KO'd like that they should NOT be able to continue in the game. Seems he is fine, and that's great, but one day, someone will not be....

Bit pointless football-wise other than to let the youngsters play a bit. But good commercially I suppose. Hope the players get a decent break this summer none the less.

Yeah, I do the same, but there's a difference between someone asking you where you are from, and someone saying you live in England.

Sure, I agree 100%, but as a Scot, if someone said to me 'yeah, you live in England', I'd correct them (I currently live in France but whatever, you get the idea... )!

I live in France and follow Ligue 1 (including analysis programmes from time to time) and I've never heard of him. That is not to belittle what you say as I am far from knowing everything about Ligue 1, but simply to say - I can't comment on him just now but OK, I'll keep a look out!

Buying someone average like Enner Valencia would be pretty (very?) disappointing. In my opinion, in light of the financial clout we supposedly have, and our aspirations, we need to be targeting the elite such as Pogba, Koke, Reus, etc. People that will be undisputed starters. We don't need Valencia as a back-up striker as Remy is more than able to deputise for Costa, and we'll hopefully have Bamford next season as 3rd choice. Plus West Ham paid something like 12m for him I think, and us paying that or more would be a mistake!

He's decent but there are better options for us. He would not be a starter and that's what we should be looking for. Plus I think we need a more balanced player whereas he is very much an attacking mid.

No sure about Stones right now but I would have Varane over Hummels every day of the week.
