My only complaint is that once again a key player is fit enough for the bench but somehow not fit enough to start. Why is Reece not in the team if he’s fine? Why not start him, play him for 60 minutes, and then sub him out if you’re managing his minutes?

Wes Fofana has benefitted too. Reece will be deemed more fragile though given his reputation & thats why he’s only gotten 3 consecutive starts in a row once this season. Think he’s only done it a few times since 2023. Will see if it continues. Needs to be longer term. Lavia is needing something though, he’s a waste of a squad place if he can’t stay fit. He’s played so little in the past 2 & a half seasons (club were keen to offload him to United in the Garnacho deal) so if they cannot get him fit, would imagine he’s got a lot of convincing to do to not be offloaded. And rightfully so. We need an identical/similar/alternative option to Caicedo to reduce his workload, no use if the guy who’s supposed to offer that is constantly unfit.

Same. Leeds stylistically are the sort of team I hate going against because they play in the exact way that usually causes our players trouble. I’ll be extremely pleased if we deal with them today.

This match has me concerned. Leeds always seems to play their best against us. If Rosenior can get our squad to perform at the level they are capable of against this banana peel matchup, I will be impressed.
