You mean the same Emery who isn't happy at Villa because he prefers to have control over transfers? Imagine him trying to work with Eghali and the Brighton boys.

'Not a Rosenior problem' – Joe Cole accuses Chelsea of being a business first “PSG are the gold standard, they are the champions of Europe, but it showed that Chelsea are a million miles away over the course of two legs. “This isn’t a Liam Rosenior problem. Liam’s doing what he’s doing, he’s just come through the door. This is a problem with strategy and the direction of where the club are going. THis is a real eye-opener to where we are as a club at the moment. Cole calls out “project” at Chelsea “There’s a lot of money being spent and we need to really think of what we’re doing and how we’re doing it. That’s simply not good enough. There’s 20-year-olds and 19-year-olds on the pitch today. There’s time to grow, improve and get better. They’ll have better nights in their career. But as a football club, you’ve got to go football club first, not business first. Simple as that, or else you’ll get performances like that.”

100% Fabregas actually alluded to this a while back. All winning squads havea spine comprised largely of experience, starting with the backline.
-
Its that Eghbali. He's the Clearlake rep that setup the cabal of directors under him, giving them instructions to focus on transfers with maximum resale value. Its that group thats given more authority over any first team coach (no more managers) who comes in to take over the team. The club will have to endure a hit before these clowns change that setup.
-
If they were really using Arsenal as a model, they should have used Arteta as an example for reinforcing the backline. In all likelihood Arteta himself might have been influenced by title-winning Chelsea and Man Utd teams from the early 2000s.

El Mala was/is my 5th choice (ie high up) LWer
-
I don't think Brighton's 35 million euros will be enough.😉

Bild says it is Brighton, not Chelsea https://m.bild.de/sport/fussball/koelns-el-mala-zusage-an-brighton-england-klub-plant-neues-angebot-69b938d2fc05063917a4e4be

🗯🔵BREAKING: A local Köln Newspaper claims Chelsea have communicated an offer to buy Said El Mala and his brother : - £38.8m + bonuses - £4.3m salary per year - For Said, unclear if Chelsea or Strasbourg, he is a left wing and there is lot of competition at #CFC - For his brother Malek, he would play in Chelsea’s development side.

💥Fabrizio Romano: "There is something happening behind the scenes. My understanding is that there has been a conversation for some months between Enzo Fernandez and Chelsea to try to find a solution over contract terms to try to adjust the contract. At the moment, still no agreement." "If they can't find a solution, which I'm sure they will try to, Enzo could be open to exploring options in the summer." 🗯Are Chelsea open to selling Enzo Fernandez? "I haven’t heard that is the case as of yet, but then I haven't heard he is one of their untouchables, either." 👀 (@kierangill_DM) 🚫PSG are not interested in signing Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea. He's a greedy cunt and will choose Saudi
-
Could never in a million years see him going to Saudi at his age. Even less so with the current events in the Middle East. For me if he goes it’s either PSG or Madrid. I don’t know if this ownership will want to incur even more vitriol from the fan base by selling a very popular player to a direct rival like City. Selling players we no longer rated or needed like Noni is one thing. Selling someone who has been one of our best players this season (whether people rate him or not) is another.

The 5 main clubs who are going to make a move for Enzo: Manchester City, PSG, Real Madrid, Al-Hilal, and Al Nassr.

HOW CLEARLAKE BROKE Chelsea How Clearlake Broke Chelsea. In this video, I breakdown how Blue Co and Clearlake in particular have managed to destroy Chelsea Football Club from when Roman Abramovic was sanctioned in 2022. Chelsea were Champions of the World and European Champions. Now we are an embarrassment. Chelsea fans, we need to unite and Protest against Blue Co. We need to try and force Blue Co to sell Chelsea Football Club to somebody who wants to run Chelsea like the elite level football club that we are. Leave your thoughts in the comments!

I have no sympathy for any team trying to play from the back when the keeper and defenders are shite
-
If they'd built from the back, solid keeoer, shouty brick wall central defender, and impervious back four...but no, lets mix and match with no leaders. fucking joke.
-
I mean fucking writing notes at that agg score, what the actual fuck. He just has zero clue, I feel a bit sorry for him because he is shite
