😡🛑Liam Rosenior said Reece James was the best player in his position and then refused to start him in his position. What is the point then.

He probably thought the goal was going to happen anyway after the attacker got past James. Sums up the mentality of the current squad, when he decided not to give chase to at least try and help the situation. Dont care about any semblance of quality he might have in the odd game here and there. Piss poor attitude, and sounds like a terrible individual off the pitch too. Worst combination.

No established, top class manager is going to agree to work under the conditions these idiots running the club set out. They literally tell every manager they appoint from minute 1 that they have no actual power or authority. So the only managers who jump at the chance to come here are your Potter’s, Maresca’s, or Rosenior’s who are stepping up massively from where they were. They almost cannot believe their luck that Chelsea came calling. No world class coach who is at an already big club and is basically the Big Boss where they are is going to agree to have their authority stripped and micromanaged by clowns who know nothing about football. So that’s why I can’t even bring myself to start thinking about a new manager in any sort of positive way. We’ll just replace Rosenior with some other puppet who’s out of their depth.

Exactly. Mean the Conference league was one we were expected to win and the CWC meh. I doubt many remember us winning it or see it some major achievement cause nice as it was to win it..its a trophy very few give a crap about or changed anything. As I said Maresca was doing good, look how we did against Barcelona as well. He knew how to set us up for big games. The fools are the board think that is not the manager that helps with that, but the players themselves and any manager would do good. The problem is that is always 50-50. Good players as well a good coach. To me Maresca showed enough to get more time and help improve the squad. Now we are back to tryeing everyone to see how it works and it will be continuing like that because we will sack Liam and get a new manager that wants to try everyone.

We've been like this for ages, since Tuchel left with the UCL title. Maresca managed to get Palmer in the form of his life and got us the Conference and CWC titles but other than that, you can look through the whole squad and there's literally no quality. James, Cucurella, Caicedo, Palmer (when in form), Estevao (even though he's raw) and maybe Pedro. Everyone else could be sold 😄

We'll be mid-table by the time that happens Honestly I can see us getting 7th at this rate, Pool will overtake us once they beat Spurs. Haven't seen such a gutless performance AT HOME against Newcastle's backup midfield. Enzo couldn't do anything, Palmer invisible, could barely control a ball, Pedro doing his usual midfield rubbish, Garnacho running inside time and time again and Delap playing like a CB upfront. What Strategy? You can't just buy a bunch of players, put them together like FIFA career mode and hope that they produce results. That display against Newcastle (without both Tonali and Bruno...even Joel didn't come on till 60 minutes) was utterly pathetic. Big questions need to be asked about every player in the squad. Palmer was invisible for most of the game and it was rinse and repeat, get the ball, pass it onto the wing, let Garnacho dribble inside for no reason, no shot, no cross, then pass it to the right, give it to James, put a cross in, hope that Delap isn't useless upfront.

Personality wise and as a person I’ve come to like Rosenior. But in this post match presser he’s already starting to flail and sound desperate and he’s only been here for a few weeks. The rest of the season from the moment he got here should’ve been all about working to the skill sets and strengths of the players he has. Don’t over complicate things and wait til the summer when you can shape the squad more to your liking (getting new CB’s and keeper for a start) and THEN put your imprint on the team. Instead, he has come in and played some of these players in totally alien positions and asked them to do things they cannot do. Clumsy CB’s playing a suicidal high line AND both playing super wide so the middle of the pitch is wide open. All in front of TWO keepers who are often idiots with their decision making. But no matter what he does and no matter how shite we look the rest of the way I don’t think there’s even a 1% chance the clowns above sack their long groomed “Chosen One” manager. He’s getting at least half of next season.

Both Maresca and Rosenior are a very low bar to begin with. No point comparing either of them If we're going with experimental managers, I'd rather the next one be one of the old boys. Namely Fabregas. If for nothing else, but to make Arsenal fans mad because he managed us before them

Those trophies paved over the huge cracks and its clear we havent got it to compete at the top level anymore. I dont give a shite we won the CWC esp if we finish 6th or below come end of the season. It means nothing and hasn't exactly sent us to dizzy height of success...
