By the way I asked AI about the Todd and Egg difference, and this is what I found: The relationship between Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital's Behdad Eghbali has been described by insiders as "irreconcilable," leading to a boardroom civil war where both sides have reportedly explored buying the other out. The friction stems from fundamental "cultural differences" in how they believe a multi-billion pound football club should be managed. Management Style: Delegation vs. Micromanagement Todd Boehly (Hands-Off): Based on his experience with the LA Dodgers, Boehly prefers a model of delegation. He wants to appoint a "CEO of Football" or high-level experts and let them work with complete autonomy. Behdad Eghbali (Hands-On): Eghbali prefers a highly active role, requiring sporting directors to report directly to him on a day-to-day basis. Boehly’s camp has reportedly accused Eghbali of "micromanaging" the sporting department Sporting Strategy: Proven Stars vs. "Pure" Youth Boehly's View: While he supports buying young talent, he believes in balancing the squad with experienced, proven elite players (like Raheem Sterling or even high-profile targets like Neymar) to provide immediate leadership. He also values stability and famously wanted to keep Mauricio Pochettino after his strong finish to the 2023–24 season. Eghbali's View: He is deeply committed to a strict data-driven, youth-only model with long-term contracts. He is seen as more "trigger-happy" with managers, believing they must fit perfectly into the pre-set data structure or be replaced. Infrastructure: New Site vs. Stamford Bridge Stadium Split: A major point of contention is the future of the stadium. Boehly has reportedly favored a move to Earl’s Court to build a brand-new, world-class arena from scratch. Stamford Bridge Rebuild: Eghbali and Clearlake are said to prefer redeveloping or expanding the existing Stamford Bridge site, despite the massive logistical and legal challenges involved. Because Clearlake Capital holds a 61.5% majority share compared to Boehly’s roughly 13% personal stake, Eghbali currently holds the superior position in this power struggle More info from: https://sports.yahoo.com/boehly-vs-eghbali-battle-Chelsea-050000736.html If this is true then our only hope is for Egg to go and Todd take over, because it is true he has done good with sports teams. Egg is the guy that needs to go.

Would love some new owners but the problem is that they will ask a lot and with everything this group has done I don't think the value will be higher if not lower. So I don't know how they will sell unless we get relegated a la possibility with Spurs. Yes I had enough of these owners. They will redeem themselves if they say hey we have screw up the first part let's make it right and get people who where at the club before to help us. Something like that. But I doubt it.
-
Yup sacking him just confirms they have no clue, they just don't know what they are doing. Hence at this point i will check out as well and not expect anything from us until the board are changed which won't happen or the owners leave which won't happen for a while. Poch and Maresca where good managers and not to accept that they help improve us despite their idiocy has just put the final nail in the coffin with this board for me. Even if they somehow find a good manager it will be like Poch and Maresca, they don't give no credit and think is their doing and go back to Liam type of coaches and bad buys. So in the end no point to look anything forward with this board and owners until they are gone.

You have to be incredibly naive to think coming here you have a job for a long period or life. The issue you have with Rosenior is because we own Strasbourg per se he couldn't say no either way, he was backed against a wall but also knew he would get more money. This is why I feel for him in a way, he had no choice and now we are seeing a bloke way out of his depth, like a rabbit in the headlights and now being battered by the media.

Areed, Delap is fucking atrocious.
-
Estevao would be the only reason to even bother watching the game. May as well let the academy strikers have a go as Delap is useless. Used to think Jackson was raw....but man, Delap looks like he's never played as a striker before.

Tosin about to put in a world class performance for Everton and then laugh at full time with his bestie Palmer.
-
I doubt he leaves Strasbourg mid-season if thats the case. Key players have already started to check out mentally, can't wait to see another 'passive' performance against Everton with Moyes getting that one goal to win the game.
-
Talksport were chatting this morning and saying that he is very close to being sacked.
-
Estevao will start this, I also have a feeling he will start Delap or something fucking outlandish.
-
Even if we don't, I hope so.
-
I think if we lose tomorrow he will be axed.
-
One of those rare breeds, an intelligent footballer - which in a way, is probably why he wouldn't put himself in the position fall guy for the billionaire hedge funders clown car. But agree, yes he has the acumen to get us back on a consistent level.
-
Is it Tosin time yet?

Unless Eghbali changes his performance based heavily normalized wage cap strategy. They'll continue to dump money in terms of transfer fees on any player. But there will continue to a be a limit to the quality and experience we can attract because of the wage cap. Top 4 qualification has to come under serious threat for this goon to change his ways.
-
Yup, and which is why, at least in a wishful sense, want Fabregas back here. He gets it more than most. Clutching at straws but I hope it can happen. This ownership did bring back Lampard (at least as interim), so they clearly will reach out to ex-players if the deal is right.

Said they found source of leaking team line ups. Wasn’t done with malicious intent to him/the team. But its been dealt with. If its Garnacho and this is the response from him, the club etc… soft as fuck,

How long before “Liam Rosenoir has left Chelsea by mutual agreement” 🤣
-
It thats true then wtf. Clear whoever becomes manager has no hope!! I really hope its a rumour..but nothing would surprise me
-
Ha ha as expected

Liam Rosenior reportedly wants more experienced signings for Chelsea, but the Blues board are set to refuse his request. (Sports Boom)
