  2. 🔵🔥Liam Rosenior asked Chelsea for Valentin Barco. Bayern Munich also follows the player with interest. (@Augustocesar22 on @ESPNArgentina via @Perla_Londres) ESPN Argentina journalist: 💥🗯"Chelsea are quietly advancing for Julián Álvarez. They tell me there are conversations. Moreover, they told me that part of the agency or the agents who handle his transfer for Julián were in London this week watching the Chelsea-Arsenal match."
  3. 💥Pedro Neto back in training, but no sign of Reece James yet.
  4. Thing is, they aren’t really fighting for their lives. They’re gone already. Which may actually make them more annoying to play. Nothing to lose, no pressure on them, and they can just be annoying pricks who want to play spoiler to one of the big boys.

  6. But we know don't we, that we will either concede first OR....we end up in an out and out 3-3 slog fest A big physical side at the bottom of the league fighting for their lives.....dun dun dun
  7. Our players BETTER not show up to this one thinking we can just roll out of bed and win without effort. That they don’t have to try hard. Not against a team who have lost EIGHTEEN matches so far this season and are long since resigned to relegation. Play our strongest XI and try to kill the game as quickly as possible. We absolutely have to pick up maximum points during this little run of “easy” fixtures.
  8. Arsenal fans have grown tired of Madueke.
  9. He will likely end up at Barca or Real Madrid.
  10. Our board tend to gamble on the cheaper end of the market
  11. Don't know why people keep mentioning him. He escaped England because of weather, wanted Spain so it's a non starter.
  12. As they should be? Just the other day he scored his first PL goal. Neto and Estevao way superior players.
  13. 3 games vs bottom teams in the next 7 days and then nothing for a week. I fully expect mindless rotations and for us to drop points
  14. Classic BlueCo planning to let go of Tyrique with Gittens injured btw
  15. There are players who justify a 80m fee and there are players who don't justify even 40m. Enzo/Caicedo are good examples. Yildiz would be worth the gamble imo
  16. You only have to glance at recent matchdays to notice just how much Chelsea’s Academy is feeding into…View the full article
  17. Normally I’d worry about tiny players like him but he looks like a pit bull of a character. Got that typical Argentine edge just like Enzo and many of the others we see. No guarantees, you’re right, but I think he’d be fine. Someone mentioned it already but we should bring Barco in and send Essugo the other way on loan to play every week for a season.
  18. Wouldn't this Yildez fella command a big 80-90M+ fee? Not a chance we are doing them sort of prices anytime soon- We paid £48M for Gittens and £40M for Garnacho, the club see much more value in buying two middle of the road players now as opposed to one insanely talented player.
  19. If only we had Yildiz instead of those 2 plumbers we bought last summer..
  20. We'd be lucky to get anywhere near 30M for Delap, it will be the usual Chelsea way of continuous loans until he pulls up trees somewhere and then we get him back in hope he can turn it round here. Rinse and repeat
  21. Need to get rid of this guy first thing in the summer a nothing player, no point waiting another season where he won't be worth anything.
  22. According to the comment above which describes the settlement, Chelsea are entitled to 20% of Liverpool's profit from a future transfer, not 20% of the total transfer fee the reds might receive. So the calculation would be based on the fee Liverpool receive (f), the basic £2.8m Liverpool initially paid Chelsea, and any bonuses (b) they may have paid to Chelsea before the player is sold on. So:- Chelsea's eventual sell on fee = (f - b - 2.8) x 0.2
  23. He has had 2 coaches already and both of them succesfully managed him before(Man City and Hull), still he seemed out of depth for both. Gittens has sucked so far but I can see the talent in him and believe he can eventually come good, however Delap just seems to lack quality. I said this to other players before like Rudiger or Cucurella, I hope I will be dead wrong again, let's see.
  24. It's not premature, the hard facts are we bought a 30M championship striker that is way off what we need playing with one striker. I cannot judge Delap just on Rosenior's tenure, it has to be from the start, and based on that he has scored one goal in the PL and one in the CL accompanied by a red card. An overall on field performance is he has been shite, not offered anything of note and sort of typifies our middle of the road transfer policy of buying total and utter dross.
  25. A bit premature imo, the new manager has barely been in the door for 5 minutes and Delap may end up important under him. I am not making my mind up on him until at least the end of the season... If Cucurella and Rob Sanchez can turn it around when used right / given time, I am willing to give Delap a chance as well. He may yet have a useful squad role. He is a different profile to anything else we have had in years.
