More footage I watch of this kid Barco the more I want us to bring him. The fact that he’s already at our sister club and worked under our current manager is very fortunate. Should give us a free run at him if we actually want him.

Victim of Yul Quitters "I'll show I'm smarter than others by licking windows" positional changes. Which saw us stall a promising young career as we spent 100m to not even marginally improve yet.

Through balls is something we been lacking for quite a long time.and our forwards would benefit from it.

At least Paqueta is no longer there to score a random worldie from nothing like he did last time. Really just have to shut down Bowen as he’s their only consistent danger man in attack. Really HAVE to win this run of “easier” fixtures we have coming up because it’s going to get much tougher afterwards. I know West Ham have had a bit of an uptick recently but if we’re focused and up for it we should be winning this at home comfortably. They’re probably going to sit deep and compact and try to use Bowen’s pace on the break. So against a deep block we should definitely be starting either Palmer or Estevão on one wing and Gittens on the other. Pedro Neto and Garnacho would be useless without space to exploit. We need dribblers who can beat players.

As I said on the board my cool down analysis after the sacking of Maresca. That if we are to continue with this trading of players and managers between clubs then it makes sense we get a manager from their, like Liam. And then in the future if Gary does good in Strasbourg brinng him to keep the continuity. If they pull this good and without much fuss as in France they are hating this, they can build something really good.

The journos will have been too busy asking him about pointless shit rather than the real pressing issues

Sounds like nobody remembered to ask Rosenoir about Anselmino at the press conference just now. 🤦♂️ Are we going to use him or what?

Would indeed be a great move for him.

🚨Everton have shown interest in a loan deal for Tyrique George. Chelsea previously had only been willing to sanction a permanent exit for George but are now exploring loan options. (@TheAthleticFC)

Yeah, I definitely get Verratti or Vitinha vibes from watching him. Small guy with huge aggression and also silky technique on the ball with a great ability to pass between the lines. Could be a super smart alternative in the summer to Anderson or Wharton.

💥Valentin Barco played as a left-back for Boca, Brighton, FC Sevilla, and again for Brighton, where he mostly failed to impress and the above-mentioned teams wrote him off. Chelsea had him on their radar even before he moved to Brighton. After his move to Racing Strasbourg, where he was given a new chance by Sam Jewell, he was initially used as a left-back in the first few games, before Liam Rosenior moved him to central midfield. He is really flourishing there, playing deadly passes with great vision, very spirited, a real fighter with great technique. He's a bit taller than Marco Veratti, but Barco's playing style and temperament remind me completely of Veratti!

I’ve seen this kid’s name before but have never really seen him play. After just watching some highlights I’m kind of shocked by how impressed I am. He looks class on the ball and like a tiger without the ball in typical Argentine fashion despite his small size. Looks very well suited to the PL.
