Only way things turn around for us is if these owners make a serious managerial appointment and take a completely hands off approach in football decisions. Let the manager and football people do the work.
-
It is still a pretty lucrative job. London based club with a global reach, massive fanbase. Lots of coaches would be watching with interest - only question would be how much power the board is willing to concede. This happened in 2023 and repeated in 2024 and 2025 with Poch and Maresca. Any decent manager would be leveraging the mess we are in to ask for more power. Up to Clearlake to open their eyes
-
I doubt this is the case and I think there will be a release clause even though it's a 6-yr contract. This reporter from Football LDN is making a simple calculation based on how much Liam earns but I believe this figure is misleading
-
I think they give him Sunday, and if we some how do manage to win they take the credit and fall in love with themselves again. I think last night shocked the hell out of them, I don't know why as everyone expected us to lose but it was the pure manner and they were live in person. No plan B and they are shitting themselves now
-
Soooo till the end of the season. Where we will lose all of those sooooo

Rinse and repeat no matter who we get, what has to change is the people at the top to either fuck off or keep their fucking nose out of on the field football matters and make sure the manager is backed correctly with the correct players and experience
-
We know we won’t be getting a top class, big name manager. That goes without saying in the situation this club is in. But we should still at least be targeting someone who instantly commands respect from both the players and the fanbase. If we once again pluck somebody from a small club with zero big club or high level experience then there will rightly be a fan revolt and this club may never play UCL football again.
-
Thats why they will probably wait until the season has ended to sack him as im sure there is a clause in his contract to be terminated without Champs League. Thomas Frank ?? The fanbase will go to the streets with pitchforks.. surely they can’t be even thicker than they have already proven to be!

6 months into a 6 year contract, it would cost us 25M to sack him
-
Can you imagine how thrilling that meeting must be... "so lads, we are here again" "What do we do now" "Err who is available" "Shall we appoint Callum again" "Yes, yes let's do it" Meeting over

They don't have a plan b that's why because they were cock sure this was going to be a huge success, when we all knew how this was going to go
-
the biggest thing about that video, you can actually see that some of the players don't care at all. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them already know that they are leaving in the summer, they're just staying match fit now. That lineup put out today was pathetic. Delap & Neto up top with Cucurella as a winger? Enzo as a 10 pressing for no reason. Sanchez getting hunted down by the Brighton boys knowing that he has zero ability on the ball. Being able to get rid of Sanchez, Fofana and a few others would help MASSIVELY with rebuilding this team.

After what Brighton did to us, imagine what Leeds are about to do at Wembley with their pressing and physical approach. Another strong cardio session for Delap up top with the usual Garnacho sub.
-
🤡Internally, there’s just as much talk about Marco Silva and Thomas Frank as there is about Cesc!
-
There would have to be a release clause in his contract, there's no other reason he was given a 6 year contract.
-
Shocked I haven’t woken up to a Comunicado Oficial. Imagine how fucking toxic shit will get if Rosenior is in charge at Wembley and loses to Leeds of all clubs.
-
They'll be looking at the balance sheet, how much compo they have to pay Rosenior v recruiting the next Yes man However what they really hate is bad publicity, so they'll be looking for someone who the fans might warm to but is also a jobsworth. Fine balance for their AI system to work out
-
🔵💣Chelsea may have to pay Liam Rosenior as much as £24million in compensation if thev decide to sack him. The head coach still has six years left on the contract signed in January, which is said to be worth £4million a season. (@MatthewAbbott)

It looks like Liam will pull through; he’s going to meet with club officials, and the club will announce later today that he’ll be participating in practice. 💨💨💨🤬
