  4. Hopefully lessons have been learned from the Leeds shitshow. Don’t start a game slowly. You’re playing for a top club, get the game moving, get the ball moving quickly, get your tempo and your passing, get your touch right. Get on the front foot and move the ball quickly. Dont do this and watch the oppos confidence grow. Doesnt take a PL manager to know this
  5. I expect him to restore Fofan to the lineup. Acheampong as usual will struggle to get minutes, but hopefully the last match will at least convince Maresca and the directors to start him over Tosin & Badiashile next time. Hopefully James starts this game too.
  6. Without Caicedo, not expecting a win. Bournemouth 2-1 Would be great to see Josh get a chance rather than riding the bench and watching Tosin get minutes for no reason. Single handedly let Sunderland's striker take the ball all the way into the box and score the winner.
  7. Yea Santos is an interesting one, he's got all the physical tools to be a good midfielder but he's not really a DM or a floating "10" like we need. Think the bigger question will be around Lavia's future, surely we don't just keep on the books for 5 games a season. Quality player on his day but he's worse than Fofana in terms of small injuries.
  8. Bournemouth just 1 point last 5 games.
  9. lol you overreact so hard. Get a diary and write in it. Binning off JP after a solid start and for most games great build up and all around game is hilarious.
  10. Yeah we should have signed Isak for 125 mil - he is really working out. Some of you act like it was all rainbows and butterflies with previous ownership and strikers. Aside from Costa, we haven't had a striker banging in goals. That was largely due to being carried by Hazard who is one of the best to ever touch a football and underrated. Drogba wasn't banging in goals for fun. Link up play by JP is apparently glossed over when you aren't looking at things with rose tinted glasses. Our attack is fine and we score - but we look like shit when we have players out of position at the back and generally shit players like Tosin which results in shit build up play from the back. Strikers can't score when the build up is dog shit to begin with.

  13. Penders is interesting, I wonder if we should bring him back next season or let him continue to play in France? And the club did good as well with Santo but I'm still not sure on him. I will wait until the summer and see how he does the entirety of the season and see if we should sell or keep. Because even though the club did good buying him and now his price has increased in sure we can do better then him.... But again let's see the entirety of his season how he handles.
  14. You have to take the good with the bad. I'm not a fan of Clearlake and their strategy but they did get us some solid players. They got us Caicedo, Enzo, Palmer, Estevao, Gusto. Penders is also developing on loan. I think the big question is, what is the next step for the club. Do we continue to float around the top 6 with "new signings" or do we start competing with the big boys?
  15. I wonder if they'd be interested in a loan for Tosin as well 😆
  16. 🔴⚪️🔵Lyon are in talks with Chelsea over a loan move in January for Axel Disasi until the end of the season. (@Tanziloic & @lequipe)
  17. Last World Cup for Messi and Ronaldo. First time 48 teams. Debuts for Cape Verde, Curacao, Uzbekistan and Jordan.
  18. Attack wise I'm fine with the work they done. As I always said the SD might need another one to help them with defense because that's where they been really bad. Cucurella aside not much has been good there.
  19. 16 year old 18 year old youngster highly talented teenager Generational telent You lot want this??!!? This is what you want for our club? It hurts to see the fanbase roll over and accept this shit. It’s fucking painful man. Clownlake have successfully brainwashed the majority of The Blues into accepting mediocrity and allowing our club to be another Leipzig or Dortmund.
  20. Based on what ? Where is the evidence that these SD’s and Ownership will do the ‘right’ thing in the transfer windows? When have they actually targeted upgrades on the current squad in areas needed?? Have they even done it once???
  21. That’s what’s worrying.. he is soo arrogant in his approach. He doesn’t understand that you cannot rotate this much if you want consistency and if the best players can’t play more than we need then we need players who can. Fucking joke man.
  22. @ZAPHOD2319 no game thread yet for Bouremouth. Game less than 24 hours?
  23. World Cup Draw in a few minutes.... ''Staged just a mile from the White House, Friday's World Cup draw will have a distinctly political feel. The glittering ceremony will take place at the Kennedy Center, the famous Washington arts venue now chaired by US President Donald Trump after he overhauled its board this year. Proceedings seem to have been planned with the US president very much in mind. Seventies group Village People have been booked to play YMCA, a Trump favourite that is regularly heard at his campaign rallies. And, in a break with tradition, the draw ceremony will feature the awarding of a new Fifa Peace Prize, with Trump widely expected to be the recipient. Such gestures will only underline the alliance forged between the US president and Fifa counterpart Gianni Infantino, who announced the award last month after claiming that Trump deserved to win the Nobel Peace Prize for his contribution to the Israel-Gaza ceasefire, and enthusiastically praising his policies. Such moves are a threat to Fifa's commitment to political neutrality, one enshrined in its statutes, and risk turning the draw - and the tournament itself - into propaganda tools. They believe Infantino and Trump are effectively too close for comfort, and that it sends a message that world football's governing body is aligning with the Make America Great Again (Maga) movement, and endorsing what many feel is a divisive administration. Is it wise, they ask, that Fifa is seen to associate so closely with a man who only this week made disparaging comments about Somalis, describing them as "garbage"?
  24. 🔵The 18-year-old midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi from OSC Lille is being heavily courted by Chelsea FC. Chelsea is pushing hard. Lille’s management wants to extend his contract to sell him for more than €50million next summer. (@FabriceHawkins)
  25. Could have won the smaller games simply by not choosing a braindead lineup. He's shit
  26. "Let's destroy our entire buildup because Leeds who have been shocking all season might play some long balls Championship mentality
  27. It did work out, look at all the trophies we won before
  28. But this is where you let your hatred get in the way of seeing the truth, an avaerage manager will play good once in a while but not consistently against the biggest team, PSG, Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal etc etc. That is not what an average manager does, you just hating. While consistency in the smaller games I will give you that, but that has nothing to do with average manager. That is about fixing some things him and the board can fix this summer.
