Yeah he should've said "Madrid? YUCK! I hate the club and city I grew up in and made me the player I am today." instead.

Wipe everyone but Azpi, Kante and Christensen. Start again with players that actually care about the club.

Isn't it lovely that we somehow have 3 players who, for one reason or another, are pining for a move to Madrid? Would be nice having players who are actually committed to the club as opposed to constantly having one eye elsewhere!

Apart from Robben, Madrid have just (long) been a hypothetical threat/worry for us in keeping our best players, but it looks (Hazard/Courtois) like that will soon be changing unfortunately. Only a PSG-esque mentality can save us now.

Ohh relax a bit ffs.

Too many people with inferiority complexes here.

Ronaldo stated multiple times he wants to go back to sporting one day and that he loves sporting. Did Real fans turn their heads and started moaning?

Its obvious that Morata loves Madrid and who gives a shit?

Who cares. As long he plays well for us, thats the only thing. If he wont play well, he will be sold. Its simple.

If people werent so offended by every little thing and didnt have such big egos, from Conte to fans, we would still have Diego here who was quality striker and who shown passion for club and fans, even though he also had Madrid in his heart.

We would be relegated the same season.

Sorry but that’s just not how professional football works. It’s a very competitive wage market and the best players earn the biggest wages. The top clubs not only pay higher wages but also can afford to pay high wages to more players, which also attracts footballers.

if we could and start pay 400-500k to multiple players, you’d see players talk about moving to chelsea as a career goal. We can’t and they don’t.

the vast majority of players Do Not care about the clubs. What clubs can, and should do, though is to try limit players exposure to the media esp when talking about other clubs.

Imo players should be cautioned when they disrespect their current employer in the media, which they do when make these comments to the public.

Kante chose us over Utd when we weren't even in Europe. Not everyone is only worried about their pay packet

Fair enough... there are always different reasons and different goals, but is Kante the rule or the exception?

His wife posted a video on Instagram of them dancing and she even jumped on his back apparently!

One of a long list of exceptions. Any player worth his weight goes to the best club to further his career.

Did he dive after the contact?
