I thought he was very good. His hold up & link up play is a million levels above what Costa was giving us last season.

Just before Willan's goal, Morata picked up the ball deep, turned his man and played a smart pass to Hazard who found Willian. That donkey Costa simply couldn't do that.

No danger in front of a goal, f*cked up great counterattack, worst pass accuracy than any other player on the pitch. Also should've done better after some decent crosses. He's been poor, those "link up" excuses are laughable.

Really don't get Morata at the moment. One game, he plays like a prime Drogba - e.g. against United - and the next, he plays like Torres.

His technique and general play are good but just think he lacks that ruthlessness and robustness. If only we could merge him and Costa together, we would have the ideal striker.

Yep.

The way he played against Utd was ideal. He'd be tucking away more goals if he was willing to put his body on the line.

Or he sorts out his feet! If his feet is as good as his head, he would have scored at least 15 goals by now. Has missed so many clear chances because he couldn't sort out his feet or tries to over-complicate the finish.

Yeah its annoying he barely gets any decisions against him considering the shit Aguero and Lukaku get away with for example. He does protest so much (like Diego! :D).

Again, two things he needs to work on big time - his balance, and his finishing. It’d transform him to the next level and a bonafide world class striker. He’s still a talent. I’ve said I’m not really going to judge him too much this season because I do believe he still needs to acclimatise to England.

He is a terrible shooter of the ball. I dont think ive seen him strike a ball hard with his feet for Chelsea. He actually has more power on his shots with his head than with his feet which is weird.

Such a daft yellow he picked up yesterday. He is not as bad as Costa but sometimes is really petulant and gets himself unnecessarily booked. One more yellow and a suspension and we have a whole bunch of league games coming up.

He's on 4? When the hell did he pick up the others? I can't recall him getting one prior to last night.

He got one against Arsenal, one against Watford, one against WBA last week which was such a stupid yellow concede as it was in the last minute of the game when we were battering them. Just don't make any challenge that will give the ref a reason to bring out a card. Then that moment yesterday when he kicked the ball away and even before that he had a right go at the ref, which he could have been booked for however the ref did not bring out the card then. Hope Conte has a word with him.
