Cesc for me. Without Matic we can always change back to more defensive tactics and play Mikel-Ramires. Cesc has changed our game in terms of the games where we have to breakdown the opponent's bus. With Matic-Ramires pivot our offensive game relies entirely on Eden whereas Cesc is able to take our other attacking players (read: the striker) into the game.

Easy for me. Cesc all way. He changed the profile of the team. Whereas Eden is the star, Costa the killer and Matic the beast, Cesc changed us, allowed us to play a different kind of football and propped those other guys (maybe except Matic). We are a different level with him in the side

I think it really shows while Fab is out of action how Chelsea backslide into a pattern of repeated slow and impotent attacks like yesteryears. Need to prevent this from happening and not be over-dependent upon Cesc. That's what needs to be addressed by the manager and in the summer. Faster build-up play, more depth in CM and better fullbacks.
