Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has broken his little finger and
will miss the Czech Republic's friendly against hosts Turkey in Manisa
on Wednesday, national team head coach Michal Bilek said on Monday.

"Petr
is not flying with us," Bilek told reporters as the Czech team met in
Prague, adding Cech had broken the finger during Chelsea's 3-2 Premier
League defeat at Newcastle on Saturday.

The 30-year-old Cech arrived in Prague but a scan showed a fracture.

Bilek said he would try Dnepropetrovsk keeper Jan Lastuvka against Turkey, with Hamburg stopper Jaroslav Drobny on the bench.

this is what i brought up in the courtois thread cech only has maybe 2 seasons left with all the injuries he's getting his mind may be there but his body is not keeping up.. we may have to bring courtois back this season but next season should not be out on loan should be with us pushing cech for number 1...

That "he has 4 seasons left as a top keeper" has been nonsense for over a year now and these injuries are proving it. He's not got a very good body as we know, and once again, we shouldn't just keep playing him as undisputed #1 season after season now just because he's Cech. He should accept a Cudicini role with Courtois being #1.
