  1. If by some miracle we fleece Bayern for £65m, then surely it goes onto the release clause to Sporting 5 minutes after. Can't say I can get behind someone else around that price range. Delap, great, we already have a young run into the ground type in Guiu, not comparing their ceilings but isn't it another work in progress? Just read a post about Tosin being the 'uncle' of the group.. yeah that's a bit of a stones throw from Thiago Silva as the groups older influence.
  2. Guiu has to feel hard done by, I can understand bypassing Nkunku as the chap is, unfortunately, a passenger/shadow of his former self. Jackson just does so well in a situation where you think it's nothing but then will miss three sitters and it's a bitter sweet situation. Better used on the wing.
  3. He may become the victim of telling the owners/directors he doesn't need signings etc the trouble is that we were second in the league at that point, everything was fine and over achieving. If he doesn't qualify for CL I think he goes.
  4. Earlier in the season it was flipped, we'd wake up in the second half. I really can't place my finger on it, probably why I'm not an EPL manager, however it literally looks like we are clueless in the final third. Lavia was very good, two lapse passes that I recall but otherwise the balance with Enzo was pre-injury, shame he had to come off. We are very good at getting TO the final third then it breaks down.
  5. Such a shame we didn't sign Chris Wood for the Giroud type of role. Obviously Giroud was incredibly skillful for his size/speed but we just don't have a plan B, at all.
  6. Love how my stream conks out 10s before that goal.
  7. Shocking shocking shocking. Completely clueless. Jackson's great hold up play for 1-0 then epitomises why we need a different striker after missing 2-3 decent chances thereafter.
  8. How we are 2 weeks into Jan almost without the signings is mine boggling, leave it till the last minute and the weakest possible negotiating position. Sanchez has been woeful tonight, Josh gets beaten for the shot but near post like that, granted it's tonked but still, distribution shambolic as usual.
  9. Didier level hold up play, well done Nico.
  10. Read it and came directly here with the worst look on my face ha. What a weird signing, I do not rate him at all. Had enough of listening to Gary Neville hype him up month after month, yawn!
  11. Makes total sense, why start at what the 'media' rate him, read anywhere between £55-70m. I would be disappointed if we signed him for more than £60m, even the face I've pulled typing that figure out is enough for me to be firmly on the fence about him. Everytime he is in the media to be hyped up, I watch the next Palace game and he's terrible, granted not every game is stellar but I personally haven't seen enough to say he's worth the spend, I genuinely would rather bring Trev back to be coached properly.
  12. Id like to say that one of those matches we've fluffed were a needed wake up call but nothing has changed what so ever. We also should have had a penalty but the team looks so lost right now.
  13. Absolute howler from Brentfords keeper there
  14. Read a tweet saying that they will consider Enzo targets as long as they are u24, whether it's true, shrug.
