That's staggering reading considering his age and the fees floated pre. There's a reason westham want him on loan, we have enough work in progress. I was at work today and we were all chatting about strikers getting up there in age, some experience, even in midfield and then got onto defence (Rudi ofc).. my point is that I was actually struggling with available experience right now? Who would anyone take ?

For the record, I despise the talking and laughing between Cole and Pep at the end. I hated it vs Enzo and I hate it now so it's not me cherry picking. I actually particularly do not like Roy Keane, but that's how footballers need to approach games, focus.

Enzo lost his ruthlessness he had earlier in the season, whether that is lack of options or what, but lesser teams have no issues bringing in someone hungry for a chance. We have none of it, same old each game at the moment, under par, effort no there, Palmer is literally off the boil for how long? Stat padding the same as Noni right now.

It's the news and such whereby we were second and people took the 'what if' with the title, none of was true. We are what we are, simple as that, points wise not far off last year but time will tell in terms of first half has been great, manager needs transfer support, second half determines how we go. I half hoped we had gone out of the ECL so the board/manager didn't have an 'out' for UCL. Jackson was woeful as usual tonight, how many times does it need to happen.

If by some miracle we fleece Bayern for £65m, then surely it goes onto the release clause to Sporting 5 minutes after. Can't say I can get behind someone else around that price range. Delap, great, we already have a young run into the ground type in Guiu, not comparing their ceilings but isn't it another work in progress? Just read a post about Tosin being the 'uncle' of the group.. yeah that's a bit of a stones throw from Thiago Silva as the groups older influence.

Guiu has to feel hard done by, I can understand bypassing Nkunku as the chap is, unfortunately, a passenger/shadow of his former self. Jackson just does so well in a situation where you think it's nothing but then will miss three sitters and it's a bitter sweet situation. Better used on the wing.
