You just got to love Roman Abramovich. Most of the fans started losing the faith on him but the truth is that he never loses faith for this club. We were worried on who he was going to appoint and look who we got now, one of the best current coaches in Europe.

Great news.

Although the thought of Emenalo becoming assistant manager is giving me nightmares, I will ignore that for now.

Thats a point. What backroom staff is he gonna bring with him or will he have to work with what we already have??

Isn't Paul Clement higher up on the totem pole ? Comes off as the guy who liasons between the team and the manager, always had his notepad out during substitutions in games and such . Seemed like the Clarke to Mourinho with Carlo to me .

Come game-time , PC was the only was doing the assisting . Although Emenalo had his work cut out pre-match with the opposition-scouting reports. What AVB did hah.

Really happy with this news. Glad to see the club take such a bold choice, and I just hope that they carry that through with patience and continuity. AVB has the talent and potential to be a great Chelsea manager, if we allow him to be. Lets hope we're not doing this topic thread again for many a year.
