Guest justin_3d
"As far as players are concerned, the basis of the team will be the same for next season," he added. "There may be an introduction of two or three players. We've identified key players that we'd like to bring to the team, players who can strengthen the team but of course we'll probably have to wait until the new coach is in place."Same team for next season with only 2 or 3 players coming in.....I think Lukaku is one of them, and maybe Kevin De Bruyne, leaving us with 2 players coming in....Do i see us getting a new RB, Winger, and Creative midfield? Looks very hard right now, if we only getting 2 or 3 after the new manager comes in. And most likely the coach is going to be someone we expect, like Guus. If not Guus i would love it to be Marcelo Bielsa!
Rubber bullets 1,183
I don't want the same squad with only a few additions. I want a complete change which sees old and/or creaky players like Malouda, Drogba, Anelka, Bosingwa and Essien out and a completly refreshed and vitalised squad with new singnings and some academy players promoted to the first team (Josh, Bertand/Aanholt). Otherwise we will be left behind due to the likes of Drogba and Malouda dragging us down.
Tomo 21,751
Im glad i have limited internet access because this is utter torture. We need more than 3 players in but it wont happen, infact it wont surprise me if we give Malouda and Anelka new 5 year contracts

Blue Armour 4,439
Whoever comes in now, I hope its someone who knows the players to an extent...it will be irritating to see our players, especially the youngsters, having to prove themselves all over again... The same base of old tired uncreative legs with just 3 new additions. is this how we aim to end the transitional period and build for the future. The same base of old tired uncreative legs with just 3 new additions. is this how we aim to end the transitional period and build for the future.Because 3 players in is all i ever asked for. They have been a creative mid, winger, and RB.Some don't agree with a RB here so another striker is good for them, in the type of Lukaku.A winger i guess Kevin de Bryune might be it....but i am not sure if that counts cause he will be loan. We still need a winger. And one more would be a creative midfield, unless we are going to rely on Yossi, and give time to Josh.
