Duran was almost a consensus buy on this forum which is very rare.

I'm still not convinced with Duran, possible it's a purple patch but safe to say if someone put Shatmu, Oshimhen and Duran on the table I'd pick the later every time.

who would you have purchased?

we could have had Duran for around half of what we paid for Wes Fofana, plus on a low salary

Sesko or just roll with what we have until something better comes.

I'm not sure Duran would be on low salary, owners wanted him bad and after suddenly talking to his agent and doing background checks they changed mind almost immediately.

Safe to say we should've got him in that swap to balance the book but owners decided to go after that unknown kid Kellyman who probably won't sniff a game and costed us a whopping 20m, complete joke.

Surely other unknown strikers will rise from now until next summer. The striker market right now is like a wasteland, not impressed with any of them that much. Hope we don't go again after that cunt Oshimhen either way.

there are no truly 'unknown' sr team CFs for me atm who are also avaible and remotely good enough for us now

I have posted on basically every possible option, from Osimhen, etc at the top (cost wise) on down to youth valued at sub 10m
