Foden on a hat trick already

rout is on perhaps

Another side that were miles behind us and who had a historically bad spell for Pep and yet they’re now ahead of us. 🤦‍♂️

we have to hope that the EPL gets 5 CL places

I cannot see us finishing above Pool, Arse (even with no Saka), or Citeh

and, atm Forest is on fire (and SIX points up on Citeh with the same games played, plus tied with Arse)

so that leaves us scrapping with Forest, NUFC, Bournemouth, Villa, Brighton, and even Fulham for 4th and 5th place

all those dropped points are killing us

With City back in form it's pretty much a wrap our chances to make Top 4..

unless you are locking in Forest for top 4 (which you could certainly make a case for the way they are playing)

Citeh making it means

Pool

Arse

Citeh

are the main likely top 3 atm (and of course, as I already staed, Forest are deffo in the mix as well)

Yep, the absolute ceiling for us is now 4th. City rounding into form before their huge group of shiny new signings even arrives means they’re certain to finish above us.

We now have to hope that Forest and Newcastle regress to their means and we quickly round back into electric form. Which at the moment looks very unlikely. Liverpool, Arse, and City will be the top 3 if I had to bet.

City and Newcastle in particular going from 9 and 11 points behind us respectively and their seasons looking dead in the water a month ago to flying and ahead of us is INSANE. City literally looked like they could lose to any team they players. Their whole team looked dreadful and old and like they had given up. Now they’ll be thinking that they could realistically chase down the two in front of them.
