Strikers for the future

I have been thinking lately about our strikers who will be there when Drogba, Anelka and Kalou is gone. The verdict is simply this; Sign up Neymar and Lukaku OR give Sturridge and Borini a chance. I find this verdict really interesting but I know where my opinion is. Neymar and Lukaku, great players and would love to see them at Chelsea! However, it would be pointless to sign them as we have Sturridge and Borini who are doing well on loan. Are they good enough to replace Drogba and Anelka? Probably not but they are obviously improving and deserve a chance. Especialy Borini as he as been with us for a while now. Now, people would imagine Lukaku and Neymar would settle well as they have proved theirselves which is a positive but do we really need to splash cash? Especialy in a department were we could easily be covered in by Borini and Sturridge. I was originally in favour of signing Lukaku and Neymar, but now I'm not so sure. What is everyones opinion, Lukaku and Neymar or Sturridge and Borini? For me, it's hands down Sturridge and Borini.

Sturridge - Torres is how it should be. Let Kalou warm our bench, he's quite dangerous when he comes on as a substitute.

If one is injured, then play only with one as main striker, supported by two quality wingers and a solid centre midfield.

The only player i would like to see us sign really is Lukaku, i think he's brilliant for his age. However 3 strikers would be great for Chelsea, Sturridge, Torres & Lukaku. I would be very happy with that.

I have never seen Borini play so I can't say too much about him.

On the other hand, it depends what kind of formation Ancelotti plans to use next season. If it's 2 strikers, then Sturridge and Torres partnership would be good + maybe another forward, but I'm up for giving Sturridge a chance. He's been doing great at Bolton.

If we are to use 4-3-3 again, then Neymar since we he'd be great on left wing and we've got Torres and Sturridge that we can use as loan strikers.

I'm not sure about Drogba, Anelka and Malouda though. Depends also what happens with them.

Can't really decide myself, but I brought both Neymar and Lukaku on my FM11 save :eyebrows:
