Wayne Rooney

He'll be at United next season. Which, in my opinion, would mark a significant psychological blow by Chelsea. Mourinho is trolling United so hard right now.

And make the club look bad on paper by missing out on Falcao, Cavani, Rooney.

If united keep Rooney, it will haunt them the whole season. Whenever he is benched or under-performs the media won't let them hear the end of it.

If they won their first match and Rooney is on the bench, the headline would be something like 'MU get their first win but Rooney is benched on Moyes's debut'.

Without Rooney, our strike force we'll be decent only if Lukaku can turn himself into a monster, but in the biggest level this time. "Decent striker" for Chelsea is someone who is good enough to win everything for us.

If we missed out on Falcao and Cavani, we are missing out on Messi and Ronaldo too. Havent made a bid for anyone out of those 4 players.

The club will look bad becuase we didnt improve the most important thing we had to improve. Again, if Lukaku wont explode.

So here's my view about this whole transfer saga-

We get Rooney, have a wonderful striker from a major rival club and may end up dominating the league.

We don't get him but still have a decent strike force and United will have a very fragile unsettled striker in their team.

End result of both possible outcomes- Moyes gets mindfucked throughout. LOL just gotta love Mourinho, using the Media as our 12th man.

I think you're forgetting he was pretty much all of that last season and we won the league.

Whichever way you spin it the relation won't be ideal and that will only hurt united spirits and unsettle Moyes' in his first season managing a "big" club.

And we were never 'in' for Cavani and Falcao (except maybe under AVB).

I think you are forgetting you had a certain Alex Ferguson last season and now you have a certain David Moyes.

I'm not worried. Moyes wasn't my first choice preference admittedly, but I'm far from unhappy with him as manager. Of course it's a step down from what we had, but what wasn't?

A lot of non-untied fans are going after this for some reason. It's like they haven't noticed what Moyes has achieved with next to nothing at Everton.

Also take into account the vast amount of experience in our team. The team make the biggest impact in football, not the manager.

Coming from a guy whose team had one the best ever managers. That is strange, mate! For the past 2-3 seasons, you have had a pretty average squad but it was only because of your manager that you crossed the line as champions!

Of course having SAF helped a lot too, but ultimately it's always the team that makes the biggest impact. They have to go out there and perform, there is no getting away from that. That's all I meant. We still have that important ingredient regardless of manager.

Anyway.. drifting off-topic. This is probably for another thread.

If the result was to be same, he'll know best not to fork out 30million

Let's not suck too much Mourinho dick. We need Rooney, that's why we're after him, not cause of this so called psychological blow. Rooney on Chelsea is like a 10 times bigger blow than any psychological blow to United.

I'm not so sure that you need him, but I agree with the rest. I'd prefer he went abroad, but he doesn't have the capability to learn another language quickly.

Why He Is So Quiet?!

Either of these solutions:

1. He doesn't really want to leave but doesn't exactly want to stay either, basically he is caught in 2 minds about his future

2. Maybe it is all happening behind the scene. Maybe MU told him to be quiet and he will be allowed to move after they found a replacement

3. His agent advices him to not rock the boat so MU will let him go eventually

4. It was a farce as many said, we don't even want him and just put a bid in public to unsettle him and MU so we didn't contact him
