The Damned United has been heavily criticised though. Many think it shows Clough in a negative light and in a way he never came across anyway, especially with the drinking and things like that. I remember his son didn't like it at all.

It's the same with Munich. The one they showed a few months ago about the Munich Air Disaster, they said Busby was portrayed in a horrible way and there were calls to boycott watching it, again his family hated it.

The film was different to the book though, I think they contacted the family before making the film.

Yeah, the book was really attacked :lol:

The good thing about the film was they had good insight from his wife especially, but it's still a film that doesn't impress many people. It's understandable why they'd be angry, I'd imagine much stems from the original book.
