read your post, then read mine.

I'd rather sign quality players over anything to do with the stadium (atm).

Yes i've read it :carlo:

We should spend an outlay of £80m on a player rather than a stadium because West ham will be in the championship next year.

Because he dont have a strong character. He looks like a 17 years old boy.

You're kidding right? That's his face! He can't change that, other than asking a couple of teammates to kick his face in so he'll look hard. He's nicknamed El Nino for a reason. Full team debut at 17, club captain at 19. He carried Atletico for years while still very young, had the guts to leave his boyhood team to play in a foreign league and then spurned hero worship for a rival club. He's very ambitious and just because he doesn't look like Vinne Jones doesn't mean he's a weakling.

problems on the pitch & ageing players should take priority.

Clearly you have trouble interpreting posts.

You talk in riddles that have no relevence to the previous post.

West ham haven't even got their new stadium for starters,we've not even had the olympic games yet.So how does that get them relegated?

Lmao, You completely misunderstood, and misinterpreted my original post.

West ham are on the brink of relegation, but where has their time & effort been focused on?.. that's right. A new stadium, and all the hard work that entails. Trying to persuade the olympics committee and all that jazz. I used that situation as an example, as to why I'd rather the money be spent on Quality players. Than anything to do with a new stadium or stadium upgrade.

Nitpicking but how could he have lost agility without getting fatter?

I also doubt he'll suffer much from a balance loss, he was never the strongest striker and it didn't stop him from being successful.

I have no idea. He used to be great at making very quick, twisty turns, which helped him a lot in 1 on 1 situations with defenders along with the great burst he used to have since he never had great ball control, but I haven't seen him doing that in a long time.

We're talking about the man who shrugged off the likes of Ferdinand but he's been losing a lot of physical tussles lately. But that may be because of a lack of effort and determination.

You've got to admit you do talk in riddles though.

They seem to be having trouble filling the one they've got!!

Confidence issue! He scores one, press get off his back, everyone gets off his back.Bit daft to expect him to come on and stright away score. He is like Sheva in the lost look and way he tries but hopfully...next game can find the net! Needs it so badly. And sick of hearing about the whole 'oo look he hasnt scored blah blah'..in the paper and radio etc.We know!!!!

My daughter tore her ACL and meniscus in a game and it was a grueling recovery. She had quality medical care combined with great PT and functional rehab. It's been a year since her surgery and while she's back to playing competitvely, she tells me privately that sometimes she has tightness and worries in the back of her mind it might happen again.

I know Torres didn't have ACL surgery but he had two knee surgeries in 4 months. And I'm sure his surgeon and PT were top-notch and all he focused on. Plus he didn't have the summer off even if his WC stunk. I think with a proper summer off to give his body a rest, we'll see more and more of "THAT" Torres. Fingers crossed.

I read somewhere that he's 5 or 6 years younger than Drogba but he's either played the same or more games than Drogba during his career. Take the summer off and come back stronger than even. With that said, I still think he can contribute positively to Chelsea this season with the best to come.

I'm not gonna read through 50 replies of premature bollocks, i'll say it straight and simple.

Torres has played 2 matches, his debut was against his former team with hype and huge pressure on him. In the 2 games he's had about 6 attempts at goal which means he is getting there. He wasn't in the greatest of form for Liverpool prior to us signing him and he's still on the way back to being 100%. When he scores his first goal for us and we actually start winning, his confidence will be high and he'll be class for us. End of story. Worried about his form? Absolutely not.

I haven't read throught the whole thread, but my concern atm is the shit form of Drogba who isn't new to the Chelsea set up. Ok....he's had Malaria, get over it ffs.

Torres will come good, I'm almost certain of that. We've chopped and changed our formations in the past 2 games to get a system that suits him. Once he gets used to the players around him and vice versa we'll see the Torres rattling them in from all angles.

There's something else going on with Drogba now. The malaria is gone, the fall from grace he's had is unbelievable! But I really hope Torres have given some life back in the old Drog, he showed some of that when he came on for Torres vs Fulham.

I am a huge admirer of Fernando and everyone has been giving him stick over the last week or so.

I would just like to know why he isnt performing to his best?

Is he really a Chelsea player?

Is he happy at Chelsea?

He's only played 2 games for Chelsea! Give him time to adjust, I'm sure he will come good eventually. I have faith in him!

Are we really discussing the form of Fernando Torres 2 games after signing him and 2 games in which he was fed poor scraps from the rest of the team to work with........

If the media want to bash him everytime he doesn't score in a game then there is nothing we can do about that but i would think Chelsea fans would be clever enough to know that we cannot judge Torres at the moment.
