MikeCFC 45
Yeh I bet..remember being next to the Barca for that game..worse bloody feelingAnd the chance right at the end! Thats what makes it worse so many chances. Then again Everton scored last minute just offside..not that mattered in the end as they still won! Would've rather taken that then had taken the lead and fucked up completly...Duno who want to win it now..whose left lol Bolton?Someone randomESPN and their pitch side talk still cracks me up.Just a random table in the corner near Matthew Harding..and our trophy which hopfully see it soon! Next year!Aah yes.ESPN and their mini piano. They're not entitled to the stadium studio as that is shared between Sky and ITVthey should be nicked for bunking in! Ray. 217
Absolutely gutted. Can't believe the range of emotions I went through yesterday, from relief that the Everton goal towards the end of the 90 minutes was ruled offside, then elation at seeing Super Frank score in extra time, heartbreak when Everton equalised, then hope when we started off so well at the start of penalties, then heartbreak again when Neville slotted in and it was all over. Didn't help hearing the Everton Fans jubilant singing afterwards on the way back to the tube (I know we would have done the same if the boot had been on the other foot of course). Ah well, we just have to concentrate now on the Champions League and aim to finish in the top 4 for the Premier League.
Milan 17,956
I was watching it with other football fans and once the final free-kick was given, they all knew Baines was about to score. I just didn't want to trust them but fucking hell. Baines - from hero to zero to hero again. Terrible. Penalties is a nightmare we are continuously experiencing, why on Earth us are such a unlucky side. Cech can't save them all, players need to take part as well. But it was Everton, a team we don't know how to beat, it seems nowadays. The only positive things - our play was not so bad and Lampard scored another goal and is again nearer to the very top scorer
