I agree, it's not Carlo's fault Torres misses 2-3 amazing chances. That alone would have easily won the game if Torres had converted one of his chances. Not that I'm bagging on Torres but he has to do better.

that is the lamest excuse i have ever heard !!!! if carlo is not responsible for that then who is ????

do you think the problem is with lampard , Drogba , anelka , malouda , kalou , essien and torres ???? do you think they all have dropped form suddenly at the exact same time ???

that could have been said if one player was good and the other wasn't but it's pretty obvious that the tactics are not right , we look very predictable , we all are watching the game anticipating every pass and every move our players would do !!! the only one who has surprised us is luiz .... if we fans can anticipate every move and play of chelsea then the opposition certainly is doing the same ...

we need new tactics or new manager ??? and we desperately need a decent assistant manager that emenalo is useless .

If one player is poor the team will carry him..Most of those that you have listed were poor. Lampard wasn't playing up to his standard.

Malouda and Anelka were poor too. They played high balls and headed it for the first 45 minutes. Torres needed some support from Malouda and Anelka and they headed the ball to him.

r he got a high one, surely he can't do anything near Hangeland.

I agree with what someone else said, that Mourinho was there to watch Drogba. I could definitely see that transfer in the summer.

Thats if Jose dont get the flick from Real. But yeh looked the reason...could've saved the dosh and watched on the telly!!

Good to hear the away support singing though

Watching Lampard fail to play even the most simplest of passes is incredibly frustrating. Even worse when you realise he is supposedly the best passing midfielder at the club.

If our MIDFIELDERS had the technical quality of our CENTRE BACK David Luiz we would probably be top of the table.

Lampard, Essien and Ramires couldn't pass their way out of a paper bag. They're perfectly capable of playing the sideways pass but anything even remotely adventurous as a pass to a forwards feet and they get it wrong.

You really appreciate players like Xavi and Iniesta 10x more when you watch a Chelsea midfield with players who have such low football IQ and technical ability.

The highest wage bill in English football and we don't have midfielders capable of creating chances for teammates. Embarrassing to be honest.

This is already a huge thread so I'll try to keep it short.

Terrible. Terrible performance. No excuses tonight and we're running out of time too. Lampard, Essien, Malouda & Anelka were subpar.

Torres' touches were quite heavy. I'm all for giving him time but we desperately need something better now.

On the bright side. David Luiz will become my favourite CB in the future. What. A. Player.

I have a "man-crush" on that keeper with the helmet.

Ramires was surprisingly good. Not he's been anything but great in his last few games but today he was a level above our other midfielders.

wow wasnt that a shit match!

Fulham fans should be happy with a point but come on i wouldnt go and watch a match and PAY! to watch a team have 11 defenders with 90% of the game whats the point in that playing for a nil nil draw at home. 2 or 3 changes that they had we did well.

A.Cole = Start taking throw ins FASTER FFS DONT FUCK ABOUT

N.A = stop moaning and play footbal 1 good game this season

Torres # pld ok but with 11 defenders not much no forward could have done.

David Luiz = (TOP TOP TOP DEFENDER IN MY BOOK)

lampard = no were to be seen and couldnt pass the ball for shit

Sum it up

Training game 11 defenders and we couldnt break it up. cant score for shit we are lucky to be 5th atm and i cant see 4th coming for a long time. so torres i think you fucked up abit wanting champs league football next few years

o and mike DEAN your a COCK

It's CA's job to keep his players sharp, highly motivated and give them the confidence and feeling they are the best (the last one is for coach at a big club). It's his job to play his best performing players, it's his job to rest them when needed and it's his job to pick the right tactics and line-up.

It's obvious whatever he's been doing for the last 4, 5 months isn't working. If things don't go well for a few games, fair enough. If things don't go well for such long periods, you have to change whatever your doing in all the/some of the areas I mentioned.

When one or two players aren't performing, you can't blame the coach. When the whole team is underperforming, the coach has a lot to do with that. It's simply not possible for a 'entire' team to play under there level.

I don't know what's going on and what's happened to us but it's CA's job to fix it, whatever it takes.

That's all I have to say in this issue.

Correct. you can't tell people though. Carlo is a god even though he does nothing.

People compare Luiz to Carvalho I can see why now. Bloody hell his tackling is a bit scary at times. Class player though.

But who could he play in midfield? Yossi who knows how to set strikers is injured. Zhirkov who can play on left wing is injured.

Ramires was ok, but he mostly tackles and makes simple passes.

Attacking midfielder is a top priority in the summer.

and that is exactly my point , when a player or two are poor then it is probably not the manager's fault , but when most of your players are poor then the manager should be questioned ...

if carlo did his job alright , then no one should be saying we lost because torres was not at his best , if torres couldn't score then Drogba , anelka , kalou essien or lamps should have scored

but when they are all poor and when our play is shit then the problem is the tactics not the players , we have 3 world class strikers in torres , Drogba and anelka ... we have superb midfielders in lamps , malouda , essien and ramires ...

Carlo's job is to get the best out of all of them ... and he obviously is not capable of doing so .

The reason why i've been screaming for the club to buy creative midfielders or use the young ones we have (Josh and Gaël) for years! And sometimes i got the reply ''we have Lampard and Benayoun'.. Apparently many don't realise how crucial creativity is, especially for the passing/possession game we have been trying to play since last season.

You need at least three very creative players in your starting line-up for that kind of football. The club seems to be obsessed physique for some reason.
