I think some people here misunderstand the motivations for which some of us want Ancelotti to be sacked. I don't know if here I speak for every single person who want such a thing, but I'm gonna try to clarify a point.

If I - and I think some other - want an other coach for next season, it is not because we end up trophyless or because we failed in 1/4 in the Champions League. Even if we would have won today and thus win the League, I would still be for Carlo out.

If he has to go, it is because of the way we end up trophyless, the way we played throughout the season, and because of his youth involvement record.

Some members (The Big Drog, for instance) have already well explained the reasons for which we should change our manager, and I also have already explained it. So, as I ain't in a good mood, I won't explain those reasons again, lol. I just wanted to make it clear that the motivation wasn't about trophy(ies).

:goodpost: I'm the same. I look at the bigger picture, not just at a trophy.

Some people still don't understand.

Making a player is like building a house. It takes time. Sometimes it takes few months, sometimes year or more.

It takes time for a young promising player to become a player you expect him to be.

Remind me please who you want?

As our manager you mean ?

Well, I'm not well aware of all managers out there, so... But I can tell you what kind of manager I want. First of all, to my mind it's the most important thing, I want a manager with fresh ideas and who plays a modern football. Then, I want a manager who is able to introduce youth into the first team. That doesn't mean I want a team like Arsenal, but I want a manager who could do the same with the young player, just as Ferguson and Guardiola are doing. And finaly, I want a coach who inspires his players, who isn't worried to bench the big names and who makes his team play his very own playing style.

Basicly, I would like someone of the likes of Guardiola, Boas, or even Jürgen Klopp (Dortmund's coach).

thanks for replying ,,I wasnt being sarcastic ..Pep is a non starter tho ,,,and think Boas is the flavour of the month ,,Know very little about Klopp

except he has very little experience of managing at the top level

Source?

João Castelo Branco, a brazilian journalist whos been living in London for 21 years. He works for ESPN Brasil, in fact he said that the board will communicate Carlo of its decision, but an official statement might wait 2 weeks ( when the season ends ). His fate was sealed even before the match.

Lets see.

Barca B are playing in Spanish lower leagues. 2-4 tier. Chelsea reserves are playing some joke reserve league.

Thiago Alcantara played 15 games, just like Josh.

Bartra, Montoya, Muniesa... have less than 5 games overall.

Could you imagine our young players having 46 games in Championship or League Two to play for their own club. How their own club wants them to play, not some different club with their own problems.

Don't leave out the fact that Alcantara started a lot more games. I don't consider coming on after 87 min 'a game'.

You're right about Barca B but you did chose to ignore the Man Utd example, who also play the reserve league.

You just can't deny the fact that young players hardly get chances around here.

Who have Man Utd produced in last four years?

Well we have the youngest reserves and u18s this season. :D

I don't understand how we are expecting so much from a 18 yo player. <=Alcantara is 20

You all said when we played against Crystal Palace that Josh had his moments but wasn't so good for the whole 60 minutes.

He improved so much from then. So why not make a step by step, not 3 at the time?

Hmm, looks like just a paper rumour. ESPN sources are usually crock. I don't think they'd announce it till after the final game. Unless they say his contract will be terminated this summer?

I dont know about ESPN UK, but ESPN Brasil said that Scolari was the next Chelsea´s manager when the newspaper were saying that Mark Hugges was the best man for the job.

It seems that even the players know he is leaving.

I guess we'll have to wait & see. I do hope it's done after the season (if it is) and not before then
