Haven't a clue, thats the stat I found on wikipedia. But how does anybody expect him to mature if he doesn;t get any game time with the first team?

His body.

In the beginning of this season the club had the clear message - cut the wage bill, get rid of 30 + expensive players, build your own team fom current senior squad and youth. That was indeed a long term plan. What was ancelotti thinking at that time? Look at liverpool. Don't they play Flanagan and Spearing? Don't they dream for european spot? are they better than our youth?

Well i am done posting here.

Those who want sack Carlo and are giving a new candidate, i hope not to see you again saying sack (new coach) after a few months.

So why didn't Avram got that? Why didn't Scolari got that? Why didn't Carlo got that?

Sorry, but if these coaches had to tough it up with players some other coach bought, then who ever comes in will have to.

From what i seen, Carlo is doing the right buys, and he should continue buying talented players like Ramires, and David Luiz. Except this time we need a RB, Creative mid, and winger.

And last, you mention Van Gaal??? A guy who won the double, and then got sack in the second season for having a bad season like Carlo???

Sounds kinda awkward to me.

The only coach i see as good are Bielsa and Villa-Boas. But Bielsa is never coming, cause he won't put up with Roman. And Villa-Boas, needs a season or two at Porto. We have to see how he does in the CL next season.

Carlo should continue and buying more players. He is doing good with David Luiz, and Ramires. Let him continue buying more talented players.

So what you are basically saying is that we shouldn't change the manager in the Summer and as a result we shouldn't overhaul the squad because essentially it would be a lame duck manager in charge, what we should do is go into next season with the same squad and the same manager and have another season like this one? So have back to back awful seasons? Im not sure mate but I dont think its a great argument that one.

I agree we need those 3 things but again shouldn;t we let whoever the owner sees as the long term manager of Chelsea be the one who has a say in who those 3 players are?

Judging by this season he could have all the talented players he wants and he still wont achieve very much.

No he will stay or should stay because there is no other alternative. Personally I don't want back Mou and it is too early for Villa Boas. So I just want to gove a benefit of doubt to Carlo.

Well said. Look at Jay Spearing, look at how well he has done for Liverpool since Dalglish started playing him regularly, he has had fantastic performances against top teams, is anyone going to try and tell me that Jay Spearing is better than Josh McEachran? Not a bloody chance.

That is what i am saying.

I don't want Mourinho back neither. And I assume Roman neither.

The only way forward, is to get someone like Villa-Boas, and i been saying he needs to be tried in the CL next season. We have to see how well he can handle in that competition before getting him.

It is why Carlo should at least see out his contract. And let us buy a RB, Winger, and creative mid.

Carlo definitely lost this game. Three days ago already. By winning the damned Manager of the Month Award.

Half of what is wrong with the team is from Mourinho's time. Buying midfielders like Mikel and Essien who are athletic and strong but can't pass for shit. Not being able to sort out the right back situation. The team can change managers but the style doesn't change because it's the same style that Mourinho imposed. Plus when Mourinho comes everything is about him and the club takes a back seat. I don't want him back.

Just a quick question, why are people saying they dont want Mourinho back? I really dont understand that one.

That is my personal preference. I crave for attacking flair. Don't like much tactical game.

Rafael appeared 16 times during that season for Man Utd. Josh McEachran has appeared 7 times for us this season and of those appearances, how many of them were starts in competitive games? Thats the difference that needs addressing.

In fairness, McEachran has actually made 15 appearances this season... that's a whole host of opportunities in my book. We can't look to 'do a Wilshere' with him, because unlike Wilshere, Josh hasn't been given the virtue of a loan spell at Bolton or playing in a side under little pressure to win silverware, thus limiting opportunities. I think we've nurtured Josh well by giving him a taste of first team football - he now has to work hard to continue his growth and gain more opportunities.

I can see Josh becoming a god send in pre-season, earning the right for the start of the new season and pushing on from there. That is IF Carlo is still around. Stability is the only way can go through a transition with the youth, and build integrity within the squad.
